which operating system is better... morewhich is better depends on what you want to do with it.
window mobile is for PC compatibility and microsoft software compatibility.
android is for Google products compatibility.
both are very tweakable.

The same thing happened to me on my HTC HD2 a week ago and i was frustrated for at least 2 days as i cant seem to figure out the reason and ans . In short i had to take my mobile to HTC Care and the lad there told me that the ROM for English has to be reinstalled again after hard resetting it . It took him half an hour but my old good HTC HD2 was back with his all mighty power.
You can do it your self from www.htc.com , selecting your appropriate region and installing the Eng ROM only .
I hope my ans can be of help to your agonizing situation.

Hi, I have another question. I noticed when I made a call my HTC HD2 show the calling screen and it would turn black when I moved it to my ear to talk. The screen would turn on again when I moved it down or away from my ear.
But now, It would turn black immediately after I press talk and it would stay black unless I push a botton on the bottom of the phone. I could still talk normally but the screen just stay black. I have to press a button to have the screen turn on and then touch the Red END-CALL to end the call. It is very annoying.
Please advise what I did wrong and how to get it back. I tried to hard reset it but the problem still there. Thank you.

Hi- I have just bought this phone. Wanted to sync with my contacts / calendar and realized that it won't do so unless I have outlook. Don't really want to buy another windows product. any workaround possible to sync contact / task / calendar with thunderbird / gmail or usual windows contact?

RAJEEV, 12 Mar 2010one more question....can it be updated to win 7... in future?Not officially by MS... Don't know what HTC is going to do??? Your best bet to get the update is from Xda developers if WM7 will come to the HD2..... To me, WM7 doesn't look good to me... WM7 will limit your ability to customize the device (No customization said MS).. The only things you can change on WM7 is tiles and wallpaper.. No third part install (Cab installs, etc.)... You have to buy apps for it from the marketplace... Also you will have to buy new software (apps) for it as well... You will not be able to use your apps you have now on WM7....
I'm sticking with WM6.5.X for now... Will look at Andriod in the future......

Sure, I used to have Nokia 3250earlier. Its loud speaker is better than HD2. However, I will try to install the Wow HD2 SRS on my device n will let u know later how better it is.

I have question/comment. Can you confirm whether the US version will have FM radio or not? The T-Mobile page here has no mention of it (http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Cell-Phone-Detail.aspx?cell-phone=HTC-HD2) and the letstalk.com page here (http://www.letstalk.com/htc-hd2-tmobile) specifically says it will not have FM radio. Bummer for me if that's correct.

Anthony, 12 Mar 2010router only works if you have a 3G simHi Anthony! Everything is working smoothly besides…battery drains faster than before. Thanks a lot. I did not do hard reset yesterday after putting new rom. Will this cause problem in future? One more thing I am confused about file location. I mean about internal memory & sd card? Can you tell me which programs or files should be in internal memory?? I put all 3rd parties programs on sd card but do not know where my contacts, notes & office documents reside at? I like to put them on sd card.

i have a question, i was using my mates htc hd2, and i used my 8gb sd card which has 6gb or 7gb worth of music, and i used the music player to play the songs, and it just kept freezing for a while and it wouldnt work, am thinking of getting the htc hd2 but i need the music, cause i use the phone to do everything, and i didnt like using windows media player, can anyone tell me if this problem occurs with anyone else? and if it does, does anyone have a solution to it? thanks
