Hi, can you please tell me ho to lower the tap volume when I MAKE A PHONE CALL? I tried the ring volume and system volume: it lowers also the volume of incoming sms...

HELP HELP HELP
I installed swype on my HD2...did a soft reset..and my phone lock code no longer works...ive locked myself outta my phone..keep gettin incorrect password...IM FED UP...just checked youtube on how to do a hard reset using the SD card..and presently downloading miri v7.0...will this work? cos i cant do the official hard reset..i cant even sync with PC...i hope it does...
Suggestions will be appreciated...Anthony, Hi Tech....others...help....i guess thats my lesson for not asking here first....

Krai, 08 Mar 2010Thank sir.If i can download new verson from HTC site,exampl... moreIf your S/N downloaded the ROM then you don’t need HSPL to do the upgrade and the upgrade will not void your warranty. Some people don’t get the update because there ROM ID {last 4 digits of the ROM} does not have an update for that version ID on the HTC site.
HTC does not post provider ROMs on there site. So if you have a phone with a provider ID, you have to get your update ROMs from your provider. HTC only post factory ROMs on there site (and all factory ID’s do get posted the same date so you have to keep checking, ever so often.)
If you can install a program on a PC, you can update a ROM. it’s that easy.

this is the best HTC and also smart phone ever. Iphone has no match apart from its apps. though it freez sometime i don't if there is any update. i just had for for 3 weeks.

Syrus, 08 Mar 2010I bought my hd2 in singapore and my rom is 1.48 version. So... more The difference between 1.48 and 1.66 is….
1.66 already had the repairs done to the ROM it self. So none of the hotfix files you had to install for 1.48 is needed for 1.66 and it uses less RAM to run the phone so you have more free to run 3rd party programs.
The UK 1.66 is English only. What you need is 1.66 for the ROM ID you have. Look at the last 4 numbers of the ROM you have now and a 1.66 ending with the same numbers is what you want as an update. That will ensure you have the same features that you have now.
Plus, if you do it that way you will not have to change your SPL with HSPL.
I went to HTC East Asia site and I saw the update they are giving now is 1.66.707.1 so if your ROM ends with .707.1 just do the update there and forget about the UK update.

I got my new htc hd2 this morning with the latest up dates on it and i tell you what, it is the best phone by far mate i am head over heals with it go htc. did you see what htc hd3 has i tell you what again what it has i cant wait.you wont beleve your eyes with the specs.
