yaq, 15 Apr 2012hu guys, i have HD2 and still working perfrct but the only ... moreYour twitter problem is being caused by a change that was done on the twitter client.
There was a fix for it on the HTC site but HTC has pulled all support for this discontinued phone. Your best bet now is to see if you can find the patch for peeps on the XDA web site. I don’t use twitter so I can’t really help in finding a working patch.

valentine, 15 Apr 2012pls how can i change from OS to Android Gingerbread..need helpNot to be rude but I would really like to know.
If you just a few days ago bought this phone and it cost you a fortune, why did you buy it if you really wanted an android phone and it clearly stages on the box this is a windows mobile phone?
I understand someone that has it a long time (back when it was new) feeling for a change and deciding to switch to android but you just went and spend a lot of money to get this 3year old phone. What was your reason for this? And why didn’t you just buy an Android phone if it is Android you wanted? Or even a Windows Phone 7.5 device which is what replaced Windows Mobile?
What was the deciding factor when you said “I’m going to get a HTC HD2”

valentine, 15 Apr 2012i just bought this phone few days ago befor i got to know a... more Start by looking a your ROM version and see if you have the last ROM made by HTC which is the 3.14.xxx.x ROM
If you don’t have this rom and the ROM version you have is older than 1.66.xxx.x you should update your ROM. This will fix a lot of known Bugs in this phone.
            Go to settings>about phone>software information
Your ROM version will be written in there.

BTW you just got the phone don’t rush to put Android on it. You will have plenty of time to mess with unauthorized ROMs on your phone later on.
Get to know what you have, how it works before you go screwing with it.

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2012is there an offical update to windows phone 7.5?This phone has been discontinued by HTC so they no longer have any kind of official upgrades or patches/hotfix of any kind for it. Last official ROM made was 3.14.xxx.x for WM6.5 and the only way to get that now is from a friend or XDA
If you want official buy a new phone.
If you want unofficial look on XDA.

The best fricken phone I ever had.
Bought it the day it was available and still using with Android GB ROM. Support is still running strong at XDADevelopers. ICS ROMs are in early stages of development available through XDA.

I think it's a very good phone. Sometimes it does freeze but what phone doesn't? My dad, my step mum and myself have had this phone and nothing bad has ever happened. Sometimes it can be a bit slow when trying to text. The qwerty keyboard for text is good, but often it presses the wrong letter, and comes up with the wrong word. The camera is excellent, the photos turn out amazing, and it has great focus. I would reccomend this phone to anyone.
The only downsides are phone calls drain the battery, and the battery life overall only lasts a day, but that is usual for phones now days. Also, the texting issue can be annoying, but not too bad. Can be a bit slow, and will freeze, but after a few seconds it will sort itself out.
