I never buy HTC product again. I'v had enough with my HD2. It freesez no matter what. I tried everything, disabling Sense, disabling geo-location, disabling data communications, upgrading ROMs. Last resort was switching to Android. Yes, I liked Android, much superior OS then winmo ( I put CM7ite CyanogenMod android), but after installing and playing Angry Birds Space it freezed again.
I have had this phone for almost 2 years.
Very disappointed in HTC.

Flashed it with android. It's an amazing gadget. Solid design, high spec, good performance, best sound with or without ear piece, continuous android software support in xda developers forum. Missing front camera??... but who cares. The best gadget ever. All that i need is in it. Love it! :)

having hd2 as having the whole word in my hands :)) everything u can ever desire windows or andriod no matter .. only front cam missing to say i dont need another device for the rest of my life .. all the best hd2

Well I finally purchased the unlock ver of the Galaxy Note.... Just got it Friday, and I must say "I LOVE this phone"..... Was just waiting to see if it will get ICS update (Yes with new pen apps as well.... Can't wait for that...). This was the phone I was looking for.... I still love my HD2 too. Will still keep the HD2 and use it when I workout, running, etc...
Movies on the Note is GREAT...... Cant wait for ICS for the note.... I'll keep my Note and HD2 for awhile now... Then see what comes out in a few years......

i fully love the flexibility, OS's i can run on it.
Ubuntu,
windows 95,96,xp

Cyanogen Mod 7(based off android 2.3)
Cyanogen Mod 9(based off android 4.03)
Miui based off 2.3
MeeGo
PlayStation 1 emulator for Windows CE devices was also ported.
thus making this the most versatile phone going! pretty much any Os can be used and it doesnt take long!!
i can install ICS on an HD2 in 20mins!

It runs WP7 and Android . ... moreso you would tell your best friend that looking to buy a android phone today to buy this over a quad-core ICS phone because it can run WP7 and Android on a single-core CPU??? with friends like you, who needs enemies? :)

livy, 31 Mar 2012Go to htc site download and flash the original stock htc h... moreHTC no longer keep ROMs for the HD2 on there server. that's what happens when you have a discontinued phone with a discontinued OS. he/she has to get the stuck ROM from XDA but they must know there full ROM # to download the correct one.

I say the HD2 is the better of the 2 has-beens; you could still try to keep it in the game of modern smart phones with an Android cooked ROM.

2. use it as mp3 player at the GYM with blue tooth ear buds
3. With the right app it can be a LED torch light.
4. Give it for free to some one that wants it more than you.
