Well HD2 owners. Looks like the HD2 will not get the WM7 update (see GSM Arena post)... If that's true I'm done with HTC.. My reason for getting the HD2 was possiblly getting WM7.. I will look else where for my new phone if I decide to update my phone. At this point I don't see myself updating to WM7 not time soon. Wm7 UI isn't all that great to me. You cannot customize the UI. I don't want a standard UI for my phones....

Well HD2 owners...LOOKS like the HD2 will not get the WM7 update after all...The reason is LAME (doesn't have the three buttons. HD2 has five buttons)...If this be the case. I'm done with HTC for phones....I will look else where for my next phone, if I update to WM7... Right now I don't see myself updating to WM7 no time soon...........The WM7 UI is not that great to me, and it's not customizable...See link:

ok anybody facing active sync /gmail sync issues .found out the culprit !!!.. google has an outage today..flashed 2 roms unneccessarily because of this !!!

Hello Genius,
Is there anybody out there who knows whether there are any free software which can send email as sms for HTC HD2 just like in Blackberry. See, I have emails which I need to send out to my colleagues when the are out of office. At this moment, I am using my E90 to send out this email via sms from computer from through Nokia PC suite, which is a copy and paste thing. I hope one of these days the word sms be given a big brother name as "LMS" because I usually send long messages.
I wonder if HTC is interested to develop this kind of software in the email menu button like "send message as SMS"

have just down loaded www.tvcatchup.com via skyfire browser.....excellent shows all freeview channels
great quality just thought I'd pass it on as it works great on HTC HD2 and its FREE!!!

Anthony, 01 Mar 2010will look into it when i get home.Hi, Anthony no need to check this sycnh problem as I finaly got it to work thanks to your advice.Apparently when I tried your advise yesterday about unticking all the information types in the setting I didn't do it for the desktop as a whole. Just tried it again and it worked. Sorry for the trouble.

Unlike the iPhone OS, the WinMo OS leaves allot of its settings up to the user to configure to there linking. Because there are so many different phones using the OS there is not way that one setting could fit them all. So it is left up to the user to configure/tweak. And that is what most people either hate or love about WinMo.

this miri rom is the best .. flashed so many roms this week and i am tired with reseting over and over again .
but no complaints ive learnt so much since the first day i got this phone .. thx anthony, khalil, hitech for ur help .
will stick to miri .hitech u were right this rom is nice ..

I have No audio when I’m connected to the office network but I get audio when I use my (SIM data plan) or home, Shopping Mall wi-fi
There is no Opera mobile with flash support. You can check there site your self and see.

Go for HD2, it's fast. Screen is wide and it has got the built in WIFI router which no other phone has. Internet, not a problem if you live in a 3g covered area. Go for unlimited data. You can browse until you faint. Trust me.

I've had this phone over a month now. So far everyting about the phone is great, except it's without the qwerty keyboard. Does anyone out there knows which OPERA version supports flash video? Tried the pre-installed opera for flash video playing but it didn't work. Any suggestions on the suitable web browser for this baby, I need a free browser.
I have installed skyfire on it but there is no audio.
