Call HTC and see what they have to say.
I know you must be sceptical about Hacking the phone but i ashore you it is safe and very easy to do and undo.
“High Tech” was very sceptical about it when he just got his phone as well but now i think of him as a cooked ROM junky :)
Most people i have helped to do it think it’s going to be hard but in the end are surprised by how easy it was to do.
If you want to send it back and get the SE when it comes out you can but just remember there is no way for you to know now what bugs that phone may have.

rex, 28 Feb 2010does anybody knw how to make the internet calling in htc HD... moreTo make calls over the internet you have to have a skype account and install skype mobile on your phone. Skype to skype call are free. Skype to land line call you will have to buy skype credit in order to do that.

phone is simply is superb. camera is excellent. features are extraordinary. as a whole phone is outstanding. i will give 10/10.

for people looking for original UK 1.43 O2, T-mobile or Vodafone ROMs to download to keep as a backup I have found them.
I have also found O2 DE 1.48 original ROM.

But just how you hacked the phone to put on the HSPL it can also be undone. So you just have to remember to undo it before you send it back.
There are 4 known ways to tamper with the SPL.
1. With the use of "Gold card"
2. With the use of "SSPL"
3. With the use of "HSPL"
4. With the method of flashing from the SD card.
Method (4) is what you can use to put the SPL back to the original one because a copy of the SPL is kept in the ROM.
And lucky for you I think I found your ROM.
Let me know if this is right?

I did it because your comment is an insult to the intelligence of the average Joe.
Now let me explain to you what I wanted you to understand from the hand thing in more detail.
The average human body follows ratios. Clothes makers know this. When your body follows these ratios you are said to be in proportion. When a part of your body don't follow the ratios you are considered to have a abnormal feature
And when you buy mass produced clothes you have to go get it altered for it to fit you right, if you have a abnormal feature.
Jeans mass produced for the average adult have front pockets where your hand with your fingers fully extended can go into them and they are deep to the wrist. If you are wearing jeans that are the right size for you, you will be able to put your hands in your front pocket when you are sitting down. Pants are made like that so you don't have to getup every time you have to go in your pocket.
Now for the part that went over your head. If this phone is 120x67x11mm and you put it in the hand of the average adult with fingers together but fully extended you will see this phone is smaller than a hand for all 3 dimensions. So if the extended hand can fit in the pocket even when sitting, then the phone that is smaller would have no problem doing the same thing.
Wallets also follow a standard. Manufactures of them know they have to go in pants pockets and hold cards in them as well. Also when they are fully open you should be able to put money in it with out having to fold the money first. So they not going to make one for all pants but jeans, then make a next on just for jeans. I have a wallet, jeans and the HD2 so I think I know what I'm saying when I say it is smaller than a wallet with money and bank cards in it.
If you want to talk about stretch to fit jeans that women where, I have a wife that will tell you "when you wearing that you don't put anything in the pocket, or it will spoil the look you are going for."

also post a list of the problems you have so I can tell you which one's the rom fix. which one's have a 3rd party fix and which ones I don't know of any fix at all.

am a htc fan, I have the old htc touch and am very hapy with it the onli thing that I dont like in htc is tha camera, my is 2mg but it's not good as 2mp in Nokia or SonErx, just wanted to ask how is the camera in HD2?? i KNOW IT'S 5mp but is it very clear ????

If i do hack the phone as you say, will it invalidate any warranty on the phone? And will the phone then behave and play videos and be less glitchy? hope so. But i am seriously considering sending it back and waiting for the SE Experia X10. Which will be a brand new phone so hopefully (i may be a little niave??) will be bug free. I just dont want to be stuck with a broken phone and a 24 month contract i then have to honour because the warranty regs have been breached!?

Lee UK, 27 Feb 2010I have looked on the HTC website and found this download fo... moreThat is the ROM you have to get but Original ROM's are digitally signed and it is going to see you have a t-mobile ROM and will be rejected.
You have to hack the SPL on your phone with the HSPL for the HD2. so your phone will not do the signature check and the any ROM will install.
When you ready to do it I will help you.

Anonymous, 27 Feb 20104.3 inches is eye candy but u have to stop wearing jeans ..... moreThere's an LG phone coming with a 5" screen.... HTC HD3 phone coming out may have 4.5" screen. The HD2 phone is not big, it's just right. Hopefully the HD3 with it screen will not add length to the phone.... Hopefully it will be the same size as the HD2??????
