If u can leave without sec video call camera ,little less battery life compared to HD,then its the best mobile in the Market if you can afford.

useful Things you were missing in duttys ROM are present in Miris ROM V6 6.5.0 21893.Additional goodies e reader ,Doc Tab ,576 RAM speed,stability etc.

Please guys tell me this phone worth it? i had a touch HD cooked with some miri's roms with HTC sense i ask this because i'm affraid to buy an expansive phone and after 2-3 months im bored with him so..tell me it's a difference between touch HD with htc sense and HD 2? except the ram processor screen this shit :D :D waiting for a reply...

It would have to load all text in the chat window before it would let you start typing a new message.
(So only when the scroll bar stop getting smaller, meaning all the messages where loaded would you be able to type a new one.)
But there are 2 solutions to that.
1. Update your ROM to 1.66.
2. If your can’t/don’t want to update your ROM. Install the SMS Functions Update that is on the HTC site.

Has anyone had a problem when there are too many messages in your inbox, when you go to reply to a text - the text to compose box takes lots of pressing and tapping the screen before your text starts appearing?? i have noticed that once i delete all my inbox messgaes, it is instant when i try to reply to a text. Feedback would be greatly appreciated! But i do love the phone!!

Here's info on WM7 from Microsoft rep "According to Alex Reeve from Microsoft, it might be a possibility to upgrade your existing Windows Mobile 6.5 phone to a new Windows Phone 7 Series OS, but no promises have been made yet".
"It's early days yet, and that's really for our hardware partners to think about."
What this mean is that all the decision making is up to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer), those who make the phones and in our case it is HTC. Therefore, if HTC decides to release an upgrade for all or some of the existing devices running WM 6.5 you'll have a chance to experience Windows Phone 7 Series software. If not, then start saving up for a new device (if you're a Windows fan).
In my opinion HTC should release an upgrade at least to devices that were released after HTC Touch Pro2. That way those folks who purchased HTC device within a year period get their moneys worth.
Are you going to or not going to upgrade to Windows Phone 7 Series if HTC were to make an update release? Please share your thoughts with us why or why not.

I changed where PI9 icon folder point to. I have it pointing to cool icon set I downloaded. You use them same icons in PI9. The only thing is that the icons are BIG though.... So I use one in my first appointment and one in my first task. It looks really nice.... Now I don't have to buy icons for my calander app..............

My Review: Hey this weather app is pretty cool. It really gives Sense weather a run for its money. You can change the background to what ever you like, and as the day changes it changes on the background (sunny day the image background (using Beach) is bright, noon it's still bright, evening the image background fades like it's getting dark, night it's dark and the image background turns dark with full moon (clouds if cloudy,etc.). The animations don't stop either. You see them the whole time U're in the app. I purchased the full pro version ($5.00).... I say "It's an app to buy. This is a great app for when I'm in Spb Shell (no Sense weather)......

I'm using v4.1, but v4.2 is out now. They both are the same, but v4.2 has optimizatimization:

- Some other cleanup mainly on debugging stuff from HTC apps

Have tried transfering the corrupted album using the method you recommended, but it still doesnt work; AudioManager still crashed. I thought winmo media player was already very restrictive, in terms of file playing formats, but looks like AudioManager is worse. Guess i will just play the corrupted albums on my PC instead. :(
Anyway, what video converters and wideo player are you using? ive tried several converters and encoders but they dont work very well; either the quality of video is bad or the sounds are extremely jerky and choppy. Please help! Thanks!:)

Because I go file explore and calendar to change.
After you change the icon from the program
Open “File Explore” and go to…..
My Device/Application Data/HTC/ProgLauncher
Find the files that icons did not change after the reboot and delete them. Then reboot
(note: That folder is a icon catch)
There are two calendars so you may have to delete HTC_calendar and change its icon as well.

But that is n... moreThey do work in Spb Shell I've changed a couple so far (S2U2 lock, Xda Shutdown, Adobe, File Explor, calendar, and format SD card). Those flow through all UI's. The calendar, and file explor one's only show on Spb and not Sense UI..... I used the app you used to change icons... On that same site it's another app (JWMD Icon Changer) that U can use to change all icons in all UI's.......

Need someone more technical than me to get these icons as my main icons to flow through all UI's (Spb shell, Sense, etc.). I've been trying to follow the steps on the site, but to avail... Need someone to try these icons (they look cool), and post steps for me and others to do???? Anthony is going to try them when he gets time, but until then if others are technical try them and post steps.... Thank You.... I will keep trying myself. I have the app and icons stored on my microSD card. I don't know if that makes a diff or not (if it has to be stored in main memory???).

I tried the icons and they work.
But that is not for SPB, only for Win Mo UI & Sense UI
You have to install CSMI and use that to change any program icon you want to change.
(Version 1.4b is the latest version)
Then reboot to see the change.
If after a reboot the icon didn’t change it means it is in the catch.
All you have to do is open “file explorer” on the phone and go to…
“My Device/Application Data/HTC/ProgLauncher” and delete the file with the name of the program who’s icon you want to change, then reboot.

Skype for Mobile phones does not support video call so I does not matter if the mobile phone you buy has a front camera or not, skype still will not do video calls.
