Dear all,
I would like to say a big thank you to Anthony, Transformer and High Tech. Iwth your great postings on this site I have managed to load the Miri and Dutty ROMS (seperately) and loads of apps that make me very happy. Now im running miri and nothing on board has crashed as yet (12 Hours). This ROM has proved that my issue with my bluetooth headphones is ROM related and not the headphones as there is better operation with this ROM but not for me to be satisfied with it. I will be posting a review on www.HTCpedia.com for miri as I might get this sorted.
Thanks again all for your brilliant wisdom on this device.

So you will have to tell people what you want to do, so they can recommend an app and a link where to get it.

jason, 10 Feb 2010ohh and i need english yes and its running the 1.44 version..That rom you have on your phone old like the hills, no wander you seeing problems. :-)
I hope you kept the rom file you downloaded you will need it. All you were missing was the SSPL or HSPL to bypass the security check of your phone’s SPL.
Your friend s/n you used, Does he have a English HD2 or do i still have to get a link for the rom for you?

Cooked ROMs are un-official ROMs
Stop thinking like a child. If you want it, then just get it. Why you need permission from your mommy a.k.a network?

Even the drag and drop to move around the icons work now.
I did the reg-edit to add the call history and this time it dose not overlap with the first four icons like it did in beta 2
I’m also using it with...
The cab to see the home page picture on all tabs that cookie recommended
The cab to make the calendar tab 50% transparent
The cab to make the music tab fully transparent
The cab to make the tab slider transparent.
They all work and look great together.
I did manage to get an icon to disappear when i was dragging it but it came back when i restarted the phone. (This only happened once)

Have looked up HTCpedia.com and seen the following link featuring x2 v.interesting ROM upgrades:

Both look pretty interesting - but before I download them to my phone will I need permission from my network (ie O2) before I can proceed?

Anthony, 10 Feb 2010Did you get cold feet Jason?haha. nope. i found someone online who had a serial number to enter to download the ruu. i connected it all up and the download bar came up on the pc and on the phone and 2 seconds later a message came up saying it wasnt compatible with the device..
will it do the same as this? :S

hey ive been reading your posts and it seems you guys know alot about the phone. i was wondering if you knew any sites were i can download applications for the HD2?...However i am a bit caucious about downloading applications so that it dont affect the phonce...i was particulary looking for entertainment applications, or something similar to the ones you can get on the iphone or blackberry.if you do know any good sites i would be greatful for your help...thank you

The only affect it should have is your phone should work the way it was suppose to.
Setup a “Microsoft MyPhone” account. And backup your data online.
(The rom change will only wipe the internal memory not the memory card.)
Question to you… did you install S2U2?
