Have a prob here with my phone. the short cuts on my home screen, the bottom scrolling one is nt displayng completely. it seems like it has gone dwn n i can see only a small part of those icons on the screen.
hw to fix it. i jus tried to uninstall cookies home tab, still same.

foxcairo, 15 Feb 2012how to turn it to android ???Go to forum.xda-developers.com and explore. You should find some awesome Android ROMs. I am proud that I use Android version 4.0.3 (Ice cream sandwich) on my HD2 and it does best of HD2.

rahil, 12 Feb 2012can we install android on htc hd2????Yes you can run Android on it and you need the version off an HTC Desire. It runs very good on it.

I have also turned it on to Android en it works fine. Fast and all the apps are running on it i'm also satisfied about this HD2 that i have now for almost 2 years and a lot of problems with windows on it. But thats over now.

(Long tones, short tones & off) the default is short tones.
The settings are located….
Tap phone>Menu>Options>Menu>Network selection>Phone (tab)
From there you pick from the keypad dropdown.

I agree with most of the brilliant people who say that the device is one of a kind and will remain a suitable choice if you ever wanted to buy a device that can run on android,WM and WP. I done so many tests on the device and didn't find a single mistake in making it. The design is smooth, the screen is durable and the battery lasts far longer than some of new devices out there.

This is one of the best phones ever made for its time.. I have had this phone since 2009 I have been able to run 5 different operating systems. I'm currently running on a dual boot of Android and Windows Phone 7 using mgldr split on a 32GB card.
I have kept it in a case with a screen protector and it still looks as good as the day I bought it.. these complaints about screen issues are stupid, just look after your device it will remain intact.
If you know how to get the full potential out of this phone then you would agree that even today the HD2 beats other phones that have currently been released. :D

if your SMS are not sending they are all Piling up in the outbox it’s a bug in HD2’s that have older ROMs
Update your ROM to 3.14 or 1.66
If you don’t want to do the update your ROM you are going to have to take your SMS out of conversation mode and delete everything in your “outbox” and restart the phone.

The worrest experience i had with its touch screen, when it failed once i replaced the digitizer with my own cost. It just worked for 3 months again the same problem.Now Decided to get rid of this stupid phone.
The design of locking button under hangup button seems to be the center of problem. Stupid design.
Looking forward to buy Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo.

I am using it more than 16months now and phone was good till 13months. Touch was not working and I changed it once. Then the second one is also now not working properly. Really spent a lot now on this. Other than this everything is perfect with the flashed ROM with Android MIUI 2.3.7. Better than iPhone.
