put my s/n in on the UK web, but it wouldn't let me down load ROM 1.66?
I'm still on ROM 1.43.....

Anthony, 31 Jan 2010I talked about this problem before and even explained it be... moreAs per the person posting the video, the phone was returned to service centre and they couldnt figure out the problem. if it was just a simple issue they would have worked it out, but you will see few ppl had this issue. hope you are right and the issue is not actual anything to do with the hardware.

But just for you i will do it again.
This phone has a very sensitive capacitive screen. Capacitive screens use a small electrical charge that all living organisms generate to detect where you are touching. So if you are able to duplicate that same amount of charge (not too much or too little) in another mass that too will operate the screen.
Water is a living organism. It also has a small electrical signature and the human body is made of 90% water.
This screen is a finger print magnet those prints have water in them. Face grease from when you are talking on the phone has water in it as well.
When all this water builds up on the screen in prints and grease the sensitive capacitive screen thinks it is the user still touching it in the areas of high build-up.
Solution.... clean and dry your screen. You can use rubbing alcohol to take off the grease.

Not sure if it's supposed to have write support though. I only needed read support. Using the 1.66 wwe as this hd2 came from the UK.
Others can use this version as it's for WM 6.5

need a big help... please could you help me... I bought HD Htc2 last december, since I'm using it I have a problem with my prepaid card load, this device is eating my prepaid load.. what I'm gonna do, do I need to off anything from this device.. Honestly overall I like it except eating my money and sometimes I have balance then I cant call I dont know why that's emabarassing me.
