You had to put in your phone’s s/n number to be able to download it. Keeping that rom file you downloaded in a safe places is keeping a backup copy of your rom. I’m not talking about keeping a backup of your phone with your info on it. I’m talking about the rom you have to put back on the phone if you ever have to send it back for any reason.
I’m not talking about a hotfix... a rom from htc should be about 190mb in size

yes my phone is already set up to be used in sync mode with my pc.

Liverpool, 18 Jan 2010 Yes i did a rom update from the HTC site,,after downloadi... moreNo. only one rom can be on the phone at a time. So when you updated your rom the one the phone came with was dumped and the one on it now is your new official rom.
Seeing that you did download and update your rom from HCT, keep that rom file you downloaded somewhere safe. that is your backup of your original rom If you ever need to go back to it. (That’s one step you don’t have to do because you did it already) :-)
Let me know when you have finished downloading the new rom so we can go on to step 3

Can i take it that your phone is already set up to be used in sync mode with your PC?

Login and download the rom that is for the updated English factory unlocked UK phones
1. Click the apps tab that is at the top of the page
2. Click on the word “ROMs” that is under “Categories” on the left
3. Click on “HTC Leo” which is under “ROMs” on the left
4. Find and click on
{December 01, 2009 04:21 PM Official WM6.5 Updated ROM - HTC HD2 (Leo) - English Europe Version}
it may be on page 4
5.Download the rom soft version 1.48.405.2
Let me know when you have it...

So the only cave man here is you. If you had read the prompts on the screen you would have seen that.

Well let me tell you now, you would have wasted your time.
1. Right now the doc tab shows a full page preview of only the first page of a document.
2. You can’t zoom the previews and when you tab them they still open in there default program.
It’s like i visual search for documents and a easy way for any one that picks up your phone to see your business

You would have noticed that I have been asking about the rom with Document tab so I that Excel, Word & PDF documents can auto rotate. But since you said that Changescreen can add autorotation function to ALL apps on the phone once I include that in the settings , I think I will just stick that for now. What do you think ????

Dear All,
I am planing to buy a New Cellfone. At present i am using ma N-72 since past 3years.
I'll appreciate if users post answers to my following queries:
1. do you feel a need for a slide keyboard while typing official long letters or a story, i mean do you miss it or the touch one does a fine job.
2. HD2 or Pro2 ? your call would be?
3. will it dub to be a good business fone, will it spare carring a Laptop?

I like everything about this phone EXCEPT the OS. I owned a windows phone previously and found it simply didn't work with a touch screen phone. I particularly like the size and hope they make an android phone with the same specs as this sans Windows mobile.

BTW i like the big screen but lack of sec. camera holding me from purchase and want to wait for another big screen mobile with sec camera. Fring is going to bring soon use of sec. camera as it has done for symbain N97.

Becareful as there is a bug when transfering music on this phone.
You cannot move your music from iTunes as the music only plays for 2-3 seconds.
