Let me tell you.
A bug in a cell phone is when it has a feature and it is not working the way it was suppose to. That is a bug.
Eg. The people that say sms not sending or screen QWERTY activation wrong keys. (None of these problems i have) if a phone does not have a feature or does not have a front cam, that is not a bug, that is an omission on the manufactures part. And in no way makes the phone buggy.
When last you work on a .docx file on your iphone that you say can do everything when jail broken?
And for your information your iphone has a bug... they say it has mms... have you been able to send one to anyone as yet?? That is a bug if you did not know.
The jail break app to send files to a next none iphone using Bluetooth.. The app doesn’t work... that is a bug. I know very well what the iphone can and can’t do when it is jail broken. I have friend that have it and we don’t have AT&T here.
Look... if you love your iphone so much go play some games on it and stay out of here. You are sounding like a next dumb a-ss name NICK that would come in here to preach about the iPhone goodness. But let me tell you this... the iPhone came out before this phone so when i sold my HD if i thought it was so good i could have gotten one. But i did not, i got the HD2. So do the people here a favour and don’t be a next NICK... The HTC HD2 forum is not for people that want to know about an iPhone. There is an iPhone Forum for that.

I understand that you're saying and I already covered it quickly when I posted yesterday.
However, for clarity:
I have seen reports of phones with the original 1.43 ROM wether SIM Free from HTC or from O2, Vodafone or T-Mobile with the same problems.
I have see reports of SIM Free HTC phones updated to the official 1.48 ROM and phones from O2, Vodafone and T-mobile that were flashed to 1.48 using the goldcard method with the same problems.
I have see reports of SIM Free HTC phones updated to the leaked 1.61 ROM and phones from O2, Vodafone and T-mobile that were flashed to 1.61 using the goldcard method with the same problems.
Some user generated fixes seem to help reduce certain issues but I'm waiting to see what HTC can do about them.
As for phones with branded ROMS, I know all about them and I try to avoid them or debrand them if I have to get one so that I can use the stock ROMS and updates from the manufacturer. If I get the HD2 then I'll either buy it SIM Free or get it on contract from one of the retailers that provide you with a standard SIM Free device along with a separate SIM card and a contract.

I hv used hd2,iphone,satio and e90. I like iphone over hd2. hd2 is a windows mobile and it has some restrictions whereas wid a jailbroken iphone we can use it for gaming, bussiness and any purpose.Also the TOUCH of iphone is incomparable. Experience of gaming is much good in iphone than hd2 in my opinion.

And when i need the speed for streaming video i use wi-fi
The weather animation is not downloaded it is built into the UI. only the information the phone needs to know which animation to run is downloaded.

only those who are impress d with its look s has praised it.but those (like anthony, vish etc)who has done digging of it are cracking their heads in patching, tweaking, flashing new Roms.reason simple its full of bugs.

Why is it not equiped with a Secondary Camera. I am a Cellphone showroom manager in India, and on the advent of 3G technology here, people are buying 3G phones mainly because of the HSDPA and the Video calling options.
To do away with the secondary camera was the stupidest thing HTC would do, and have done....
The sales figures of HTC HD2 have gone very badly for the hype and inquiries we got before its launch. This is mainly bcoz of the lack of secondary camera...

im so glad ill be getting this phone this week! ive been waiting and maanged to get some hands on with the phone before Vodafone officially launched it at a branch. The screen is awesome and feels so light that you forget it has a massive screen. but a size that is comfortable. htc sense is amazing and the speed is tremendous i will be getting it on O2 (even though tariffs arent good) simply as i have more O2 people. Really cant wait! and bdw i love customising the phone so this is a dream :) (i have a htc dream too - android and winmo combo = priceless)

if your not technically inclined stay with iphone, hd2 might be a little much for you to handle

can any one please answer me? i want to buy a new phone and i've decided to buy an iphone or the htchd2.buy i can't steal decide what to buy.there,s different opinions everywhere!i realy need some guidance.i have a sonyerricson p990i right now and i've been using it for 4 years(no kidding)!it realy steal works and it has all i want.i can use many different programs on my mobile phone that doesn't belong to it,but not all phones are like this!.my problem is just its speed.u have to be very patient.please.......someone help me,it's so important to me!

Mo, 10 Jan 2010I cant believe this devise doesn't have built in voice dial... morestop being lazy and just type the number you want to call who uses voice dialing anyway......... hd2 is at the top right now dont hesitate to buy it, i guarantee you nothing comes close to this one
