I know the problem you were having with the DVD Catalyst 3
I was having the same problem
And every time i let Norton scan the one i downloaded it found torsions in them.
So i just gave in and paid for it on the authentic site.
There is a free version there too but it will not rip dvd’s to the size ideal for the HD2 because the HD2 is not in its list. But you will find what will do for a free copy.
Free one is called DVD Catalyst Free
Paid one is DVD Catalyst 3

Such a beautiful specced machine wasted due to Microsoft's 65.000 colour limitation i reckon if this screen was 16 mil. amoled it would have been a killer !!

HTC HD2 must come with Windows 6.5 then you have a super Machine. In UK there was some problem with Camera, New patch is available to get rid of Pink mark on pictures

sorry fore expression "move " English is not my mother languish .
Regarding my problem I follow al your suggestion and I even reinstalled new ROM and I get the same massage .
I hope is not my HTC on his way to phone Paradise .
