and leave 10% of your internal storage free for swap file expansion. doing this solves about 99% of the HD2 instability problems.

HD2 get hang very offten, need to reset frequently^ the reste buttin is inside not easily accessible, at times the unit gets hanged drain battery to min extent,the unit is very slow i sms,typing, in mutli tasking mode.

The ROM version is 1... moreBefore you can install Android SD version you will need to update your radio version to or the ROM will not work.
Normally it is as easy as updating your phone to the new 3.14.xxx.x rom
But there is no 3.14.415.4 ROM
What you have is the most up to date there is for x.xx.415.4 ROMs
So you going to have to download the radio only from a 3.14.405.2 ROM and install it to replace your Radio.

Then download an Android ROM of your choice from the link below (ROM type: SD)
Extract the Android folder to the root of your SD, then run CLRCAD (which will look like it did nothing) then run HARET.
First boot of Android can take up to 20min
You must complete the setup of Android in order to cut down the boot time.

to get back to windows just restart the phone.
To lunch android again just run the 2 file in the some order again.
NOTE: this most likely will not work till you update your RADIO version
To 2.15.50.14 so you must do the update first.

i need help!! my boss brought me an HD2 from ozzy (im from nz) and i want to make it android can i do this?? i have taken it onto the shops and no one has even seen the phone befor

Hi again Guys...
at the moment of writing these .. now HD2 is overclocked to 1500 MHz with stable status .. with activated Swap + ZRAM to boast the phone a lot more Of course to do better multitasking and CPU performance, and with the newly ported Kernel version 2.6.35.14 you can check the change log to get amazed how huge is the change and Video And 3D performance .
Sony Bravia Engine Now completely is Ported to HD2..
Here and now I merged The latest NDT MIUI BUILD 38.1 WITH Bravia engine + Latest kernel + OC 1500 MHz + ZRAM + SWAP + RTL FIX
Finaly The best News is that ICS Android 4.1 Now Fully Ported To HD2 ..
Conclusion : i THINK We must choose a new name for this revolutionary Device HD3 ! :)
