Anthony, 24 Dec 2009What is so hard to understand? Do you own a PC and install... morewhen i install a program from a flash drive on my pc it shows on my installed programs list no doubt on that .doesnt matter if i change my flash drive a thousand times the program remains on my pc .

but in this case i have the 3.5 in the "remove programs" list , ur saying even if i change my sd card it does not matter cause what i see on my sd card is just the installer file .the actual program has installed on the device .

But if i put a new card in then i will not be able to see 3.5 in "remove programs " will I? so if i want to uninstall 3.5 where would i do it from .

right now if i go to " remove programs " tap on net3.5 and tap remove , i am assuming it would uninstall net 3.5 would'nt it ?

Do you own a PC and install things on it yourself?
Anything the rom did not come with you installed, may it be synced or done from the phone. If you put it on don’t you think there should be a way to take it back off, if you don’t want it? That is what the Remove Programs list is about. Even the fix files from htc show up in there. It does not matter where it was installed (card or internal), it has to be in the list once it was installed, that way you have some way to take it back off if you need to, that’s just how it works.
When you install a program on your PC from a flash drive, don’t it show up in the uninstall programs list of your PC? Do you have to uninstall the program and reinstall it if you buy a new flash drive?
If you installed a program for your PC on the flash drive and you start using a new flash drive don’t you have to reinstall the program on the new flash drive to get it working again?
I.T. does everything for you on your PC? You really have no idea how this works? Do you understand the difference between a installed program and a installation for a program? Do you know the difference between programs/drivers that have to be installed and ones that can run without installing?
Answer this for me and if your answer is yes... explain it to me. So i will know what kind of person I’m dealing with. Be truthful or stop asking me for help.

Anthony, 24 Dec 2009You really do read the things i say half way, don’t you? D... moreok my concern is that why is .net3.5 showing up in " remove applications " cause i synced it on the phone. .

it should def install on the device mem . i read somewhere on the microft site and it mentioned that a little part of the .net3.5 will install on storage card and some will install on device mem .

as far as skyfire goes ive uninstalled it . the only thing i see on the storage card is bsbtweaks and .net3.5

so before putting a new card these 2 progarms (.net and bsb tweaks are the ones i am concerned about )
ill just uninstall bsbtweaks from the storage card but what do i do with the .net3.5 i see in " remove applications "

Anonymous, 24 Dec 2009Thank you Anthony for your information. In this case I thin... moreYou don’t have to take it back; you just have to follow the right charging procedure. it may not be to late.

You should fully let your battery charge and discharge (rundown till dead) at least 3 times when you just get the phone. This is done to condition the cells in the battery. You should discharge at least once a month after that to prolong the life of the battery. (This is done no matter what brand or model phone you have. Iphone included) If you have the phone set to charge when it is connected to your PC you should turn that off after the battery reaches 100% to prevent overcharging damage that can happen after months of us.
These are the steps to do that.
                        Go to settings
                        Tap on “About phone”
                        Tap on “Battery”
Then check the box next to “When phone is on, do not charge the battery when connected to a PC.”
And if you think overcharging damage can’t happen then ask yourself this.... why is that setting there then?

Does anyone remember me saying the files you download are not needed after you have installed the program, you only keep them for when you have to do a reinstall and that could be kept on your pc if you want every ounce of space on the memory card?
If it was installed to phone memory it will not stop functioning because you change the card.
The patch from HTC always goes to the phone memory so you don’t have to reinstall that.
.net should have been installed to the phone memory so that will not need to reinstall that.
If you installed the rest to phone memory they too will not need to be reinstalled.
But if you installed them to the memory card and not planning to use that card again then the programs you installed there will have to be reinstalled. In that list you gave the only one i installed to the card is skyfire. That’s the only one that does not start with the phone. So it was ok to install it on the card.

I use to use audio boot from HD Tweak on my HD. most times I have to tune it down on this phone. as for music, you going to want to get a 3rd party head set. the one it comes with is better than the HD but I still wanted more bass.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. I found tvery serious question on the standby time. I had my phone with all programs ended and WiFi switched off before sleeping while the phone was fully charged to 100%. However, the power showed 68% left after 8 hours. I then made another test by switching on Flight Mode before sleep when the phone was fully charged. The power still ran off 30% within 8 hours. I am therefore very doubtful about the 390 hours of standby time under 3G mentioned in the specs. I don't think my phone can reach even 1/10 of this figure. If anybody has the similar question, please comment.
