Anthony, 11 Dec 2009Mark every thing that was said to you about the rom is true... moreHi, Anthony
Whilst my HD2 didn't have the "pink spot" problem I nonetheless downloaded the patch file as suggested to see if it might also address the problem I'm having with the HTC music player. But I'm sorry to say that the music player still crashes.
Does anyone else have any issues with the HTC music player on the HD2? If so, how might you have overcome this?
Btw, all my ringtones are now stored as AAC files in the phone's C/Windows/Rings folder - should I ever get the music player working I'll let you know if the player ignores mt AAC ringtone files and only picks up the MP3/MP4 music files I have stored on my microSDHC card...

well not sure about the tech stuff... but its very fast if u compare with previous windows based mobiles .. the batt life is kind of tricky ..as its a big phone ..handling is not that easy ..the pouch which comes with it is too tight ..camera has a sharp edge ..i cut my fingers with it twice hahahah but i love the looks and the screen and it works like a charm

Ok i know i am late to try the skyfire browser but i must say its allot better than IE mobile at viewing flash video web sites.
I was watching www.cnettv.com on it and it looks just like the desktop version of the web page.
iels2003 ………. Maybe this browser would be better for you to use for the e-cards.

Less work for them if they get you to take a blackberry and let blackberry do the work for them. Microsoft would never sell the corporate edition. ediwitch, 11 Dec 2009could you tell me what is the difference between drive mode... morewhy don’t you read the manual for this phone it is a free download on the HTC UK site. You will be surprised to know the things it can do that you did not know about.
And that goes for every one that has the phone and did not bother to read the manual.
This in not and iphone you will have to do some reading. And it is a business phone so it is taken for granted that people that buy it know how to read.

There are 3 modes to pick from when you hook this phone to your PC

                              1. ActiveSync mode. The main purpose of the mode is to sync with outlook, install .msi files, share your PC internet connection with the phone so you don’t have to use your data plan or Wi-Fi and access all files on the phone or memory card. This mode needs ActiveSync to be installed on your PC for it to work

                              2. Disk Drive mode. The main purpose of this mode is to access the memory card only and use it as if it was a flash drive. No added software will have to be installed to use it in this mode on a PC or a MAC

                              3. Internet sharing mode. This mode is to use the phone as a modem for your PC. ActiveSync will have to be installed for this mode to work.

A lot of companies, especially larger companies (or companies with government contracts that need to met certain certification standards) only support Blackberry for external email. Often the only other way to get email off-site is via a laptop and VPN.

There is a Blackberry connect program that runs on WM and Symbian but I don’t know if it is supported on newer versions of those Oses.
