Hi Anthony! can you teach me step by step how to flash/upgrade my rom? Am a new user of winmo particularly this HD2. I just like to get rid from the pink color that appeared every time when i take picture on my device...

    i tried your method to change the language from norwegian to english and i feild.i cant pas from first step were i have to installa regedit software.i copied software PHM regedit on SD card but i cant install.its not working,i dont now why(maybe im to stupid).its posible to explain me step by step please? (sorry for my english)

      Can anyone advice,on how to do do a video call if no secondary camera at this phone.It is mean caller cannot see our pic but at back pic ?

Great phone. got all -video call. 800MHz processor.AMOLED resistive touchscreen. TV-out.etc..but i miss the tflo 3d on my htc hd.                 For a 800 dollar phone it should have atleast
                Secondary camera
                Tv out
                Projector
                8MP camera
                and looks like HTC is not gonna make any phones with these specs in the near feature after looking at their road maps.

                          So, I live in Canada and I understand that if I were to buy it now, it would only function on the 2G network, but would it work on the 3G network in 2010? Or would I have to buy the North American version of the phone..?

                            So the chances of getting everything i want as far as software and drivers go is higher.
                            And for me productivity is of utmost importance. Last thing i want to hear is there is a new program that would be very useful on my smart phone but there is no one making a version that will work on my phone. Or a new feature just came out on a new phone but i can’t get it... not because i don’t have the hard ware but because no one is writing drivers to give my phone that feature
                            I picked the HD2 over the Omnia II because of the bigger screen, nicer UI (both in looks and function) and the slicker look and solid build of the HD2. The cap on the USB port of the Omnia II is the first thing i would end up breaking/ripping off. (The HD2 also has more CPU power so i can get things done without lag, but i must say the Omnia II does not look to bad in that department as well, on paper)

                              But you will only get 2G.
                              This phone is not compatible with the USA 3G
                              There will be a USA 3G version later in 2010

                                High Tech, 09 Dec 2009I didn't miss it. I'm waiting for official ROM from HTC.All the roms on the link are official rom’s they came right off of HD2 phones that people bought (I think they call that porting) the roms were not modified in any way.
                                If you look at the Author: you will see it is HTC Corporation not a rom cooker name.

                                The last rom on page 3 is my original rom.
                                There are no cooked roms for this phone as yet because no one has been able to make a HSPL to replace the SPL on the phone as yet. (The SPL on the phone is like the BIOS on a PC)
                                So the roms are official, just the method use to get them and the method you have to use to get it on the phone, was not approved by HTC. But once it’s on, everything is just like if that was the rom you got your phone with. You can even do a hard reset and it will still load up your new rom because you are replacing your old rom with a next one.

                                You complained so much about the pink spot, so i thought you would have jump at the opportunity to get rid of it as i did. And i don’t even have it as bad as you.

                                      Once that's sorted I'll be able to focus my efforts on that ongoing troub I have with the music player. Strange to think that GoogleMaps and other features on the phone run so quickly and smoothly, I guess I need to alter how my music is stored on the microSDHC card to overcome this...

                                        Anonymous, 08 Dec 2009Mark to be more exact it might be the game called Meon Lite... moreHi, have downloaded Meon Lite (looks like a good game, and free too!) but couldn't locate any game resembling "Big Rabbitt" or similar in name as you kindly suggested. Nonetheless I tried a soft reset but Gyrator2 is still is not working.
                                        Also, has anyone elso had problems with the audio manager? I still have lag/lock-up when opening the music player despite having encoded all my ringtones in AAC format so the music player doesn't pick them up... I'm opening a folder containing 467 128kbps mp3s which are all correctly tagged and contain artwork. Any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this? Btw, many thanks for everyone's kind assistance to date.
