Thanks for the reply.I appreciate the fact that you don't do it for a living. But I was just wondering that since we are just talking about a rom, isn't it possible to use a Windows Mobile 6 rom on my Ipaq 214.I have read about people using android on Window Mobile phones etc.
It's possible isn't ?????

Just install android on your SD and boot into that when ever you want to play games or watch flash video online.

Thay are selling on Amazon and may be expensive
But running a Intel Core i5 chip and having full windows, so my desktop programs and add on hardware can work on it, I think is worth every penny of the price.

I familiar with the WM6 OS but I don’t own a Ipaq so to help you I would have to do a lot of reading and I just don’t have that kind time now. Sorry.

Hi Anthony,
Pls could you help with this? I am a HTC HD2 user who you once helped to change from my UK TMobile custom rom to a flash rom, which turned to be better. Can u help with another of my device namely the HP Ipaq 214.It runs the Windows Mobile 6 Classic and I use it because it runs an app called Pocket Esword.Lately it crashed and I did a hard reset and ever since Pocket Esword doesnt stay for long on the device memory. It works for a while but later becomes unresponsive , shuts and you can find it again on the device.I have been advised to get a flash rom. I know you are knowledgeable about such things ,could you help,it would be REALLY,REALLY appreciated. I joined xda developers and left a question but has'nt been answered yet.

What i/you need to know is your ROM version (so you can download a backup)
And your radio version so I can tell you if you have to upgrade it before you do the OS change.

what is not possible, is to activate a "live ID" and without that, any features needing a live ID will not work. (i did it before but in the end i had to take it back off because my main email uses a live ID)

msbee, 14 Oct 2011Where can i get ringtones for my phone? the site i use says... moreany .mp3 or .wav file you copy to the root of your SD will show up in your ringtone list.
you can even use the "mp3 trimmer" in "start>multimedia"to cut the lenght of the mp3 you are using if you want a different start and end point.
so go make your own mp3 ringtones, don't depend on a ringtones web site.
also when you are editing a contact, if you tap on "more" there is a option in there to set a special ringtone for that contact caller ID, (know who is calling just by the ring tone)

High Tech, 08 Oct 2011A strange thing is happening with my HD2? My battery covers... moreSound like you warped your battery cover using a 3rd party batteries one of them may have been a bit thinker than the original battery causing the metal cover to deform.
Take your battery cover off and put it on a table with the inside face down. Do you see gaps between the cover and the table?
Dose it rock if you tap it?
If you answer “yes” to any of the above your cover is warped and you will have to replace it.
