        this model & size ,expecialy this is windows 6.5 really every body love wiondws mobiles compare to symbian but they should make front camera,video call,they should make sound is speaker phone,Customization,TV-out,Video and photo editor,memory call should be higher atleast 8 gb to extended upto 32 gb this type change they should do now a days lots of modern technology coming but HTC is slowly only updating all ,HTC HD 2 they r providing good specififucation but lots of thing si not there like front camera,video call,consumisation,photo & video edit,speaker is not sterio like they should add & make HTC is beautiful then nobody will buy other phone becuase HTC every body love they r making windows mobile

              I hate to spend over 1000 USD on the phone, thinking it is the best in class and find out there is other phones are better.

                Iphone now trying to get the features that other phones had long time.
                That is nothing to follow any more.
                Maybe 2 years ago. But definitely not now. the iphone has not come out with anything new after 2007 with the lunch of the first one. after that the other 2 iphones are just trying to catch up with the rest of the world and still falling short.

                        WVGA=wide VGA= 800x480, 848x480, or 854x480
                        VGA= 640x480
                        QVGA= Quarter VGA= 320x240
                        QQVGA=Quarter QVGA=160x120
                        HQVGA=Half QVGA=240x160
                        HD 1080= 1920x1080
                        HD 720=1280x720

                            WVGA means Wide Video Graphic Array
                            It has nothing to do with how much pixels a screen has.
                            But it does have to do with a VGA screen (video Graphic Array) in a 16:9 ratio. That’s where the (W) comes in the screen is wide. (Turn the phone on the side and look at it)
                            Older windows phones were using a 4:3 ratio.
                            As for you quality issue
                            If you are old enough to remember a windows 95 or 98 PC... most of them came with a 14 inch screen that was 640x480 this phone fits about the same res in a screen about 3 times smaller.
                            Non HD TV programs are broadcast at 640x480 screen resolution no matter what size TV you are watching it on.
                            (16:9 EDTV Plasma) is 864x480 so with this phone only having a 4.3” screen but still having an 800x480 resolution (when on its side) I would say that is very good.
                            You may say real HD wide video is 1920x1080 buy remember this phone can’t push video that big anyway.
                            So for those who wanted to know... if you want a video to reach all the edges of the screen with no to very little black band the video has to be a multiple of 16:9 or near that.

                              Vodafone UK confirmed they were shipping me a HTC HD2 ten times on Sunday when i called....however today in the post I get a SE Satio...WHAT A CRUEL JOKE! And the woman on the 191 line had the nerve to say that it was just as good.....l.o.l.

                              So that was sunday, when release was on friday. I think they sold out on the Friday....much like the Touch pro 2.

                                4.3" W-V-G-A screen ???

                                There are several phones with a 3 " screen and same resolution (SE Xperia X1, LG Arena)
                                So you stretch the screens of these phones one and a half times diagonally but the resolution remains same.

                                HTC cant hide behind the WinMo compatibility excuse, they should have done something about it.

                                The screen is just quantity not quality.

                                  How on earth will you make a video call ! ! !
                                  HD2 doesnt support video call is hard to believe with all the goodies in the spec sheet, a huge negative for this large and bulky phone.

                                    Does anyone know the video formate size for the HD2? Tried 704x300 and 320x240. Under the first the speach is off. Under the second it works fine.

I am going to get this phone o... moreIf you going to record videos at a Music concert that has coloured spotlights (maybe even pyrotechnics) and laud speakers where you can’t hear what the person 2 feet away is saying to you. this is not the phone to use for the video or the Audio. Video colour will bleed with the colour spot lights and flashes and the mic is too secretive. It was made to pick up your voice when you are talking at a normal tone with the phone in the middle of your office table or conference room table. So the Lowd speakers of a music concert will be a bit too much. Not to mention there is no optical zoom and not much digital zoom as well.
