This and http://www.htcpedia.com are the most important sites when you want to get along with a Windows Mobile Phone.
You have to see the Windows Mobile Phones as hardware. The better it is, the more you can run on it. There is no need to buy a new phone in order to get better features or nicer looks. You just flash a custom built ROM from one of those sites mentioned above and you have a "new" phone. I had the SE Xperia X1 and was missing TouchFlo3D from the HTC Touch Pro 2. After 20 minutes, I had the latest software on my one year old phone.
As long as the hardware is top, you don't need to waste money for upgrading your phone.
The BEST thing about the HD2 is the fact that it can be upgraded to WM 7 when it comes out somewhen next year. So I can upgrade my contract to another 18months without having to worry about my phone not being up-to-date.
And there are a lot of people working heavily on porting Android onto it as well. And they are making quite some progress...
If anyone finds me a phone I can be sure of running the lastest software and different OS until the middle of 2012 or longer, I will eat my shorts on youtube.

Don't wait to BUY this phone. The price is going up. The place I purchased from now is selling HD2 at $899.00. I bought at $750.00.........

HD2 has the Omnia 2 in only Sreen Size 4.3 (HD2) to 3.7 (Omnia 2). The Omnia 2 has the better looking screen hands down. The HD2 is a little faster than the Omnia 2 1ghz(HD2) and 800ghz(Omnia 2). Omnia 2 front facing camera, HD2 none. Omnia 2 TV out, HD2 none. Omnia 2 8GB internal Mem. The Omnia 2 has DLNA to watch movies on DLNA TV, HD2 none. Check the spec's side by side and you'll see the Omnia 2 is equal. Don't get me wrong the HD2 is a BAD phone and I ordered one, and cannot wait to get it...... I also have the Omnia 2 and LOVE it as well. I wanted the Big screen of the HD2 and the chance to update to WM7 when it comes out next year. Not sure if the Omnia 2 can be updated to WM7??????

This phone is great however I donwloaded the manual and it doesnt mention anything about video call, I guess that is why there is no info re secondary cam....Why can't there be a phone with everything 100% full.....???

I have HTC Touch 2. I misread T Mobiles site thinking i was getting the new one, & about to send it back under 7 day return policy. Shall I keep it or is there a lot more on the HD2?

wow it's a monster phone, but why too big width?may be better if it's 3.6 in. display...is camera good enough?

buddies, I was an iPhone user for 3 years, but not anymore guys my opinion that iPhone is just a toy with "Apple" Logo.
the HTC HD2 simply awesome no comments on it. :)
