hi, does anyone know if the diamond2 will be getting an official upgrade to wm6.5.1? wm6.5 is disappointing and eating too much memory. i mean they took a year or more on changing the home screen and start menu, which isn't acceptable.
so now am looking forward to wm6.5.1, the released SS's look rather nice.

That is probably why he does not publish his name in that review (or shall i say 'his opinion'). Worst of all, with all the HTC HD2 pictures available, he instead uses HTC TOUCH HD. He most likely cant even tell the difference between.

1. The picture of the HD2 next to the Iphone....that is not even a HD2 in the picture, that is the HD running a skin.
2. Look at this link and tell me if that is not a video http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=8915
3. Look at the last part of the product tour on the picture tab and tell me if that is not a camera and video recorder icon in the top right corner.

That was written by an iphone fan boy that knows nothing about windows mobile, HTC or even what a HD2 looks like.

You don’t need an app store or market place to get apps for your windows mobile phone. What do you think me and other windows mobile users have been doing all the time for apps before Microsoft decided to make Windows Market Place. There are apps for windows mobile all over the net, not just in one store. You can just google it. No itunes or media center needed, just a google search for what you want to download to your phone or PC (copy and pace it to the phone if it was downloaded from the pc) and double click to install. What could be easier?
In the real world no one likes being told that you can only get what you want from one place, that takes away choice. Sheep are herded to one place not people. Are you human or sheep?

LOL, 30 Oct 2009this phone is definitely going to slap iphone face..but...p... moreThis phone will most likely tromp the Iphone in usability and quality and speed however keep in mind that Apples app store is one thing that even Android's market hasn't surpassed(10k+ apps compared to Apples 100k+ apps) so certainly don't expect the brand new Windows Market Place to even come close to the Iphone in terms of personalizing with apps... Price is a lil overboard too.

why do dummies insist on comparing the iPhone to such devices as the hd2, n900, i8910, satio, etc.. when it is an inferior phone in many ways? i understand enjoying one's possessions, but where did reason go?

Even i did inquired from clove and yes they are selling at 36k (inclusive of DHL cost) but there would be following additional cost to that :
1)All credit card company's would charge (checked)7% (buy & sell currency) on the total cost of purchase i.e. around Rs. 2500/-
2)Seconldy you will have to bear the import duty in india (yet to check with DHL and confirmed with clove)
If you add the above it would be more than or around 40K landed cost in India.

I have my order in the first batch that is coming out the 11th Nov. but first batch done sellout.
2nd batch will be in stock 24th Nov. but it too will sell out long before that. This was the same problem back when I got my HD last year from them (it was the first time buying from them and I wanted to wait till they had it so I would not have to pre order and the batch sell out long before. I got it in the 2nd batch and if I had waited, not to preorder I would have mist that as well.)
Don’t panic, your credit card is not billed till the phone is shipped to you.

This is a hi performance multifunctional PDA cell phone. People not paying £439 for X factor.
When you spend £439 you want productivity.
Go to the comic book store if you looking for X factor.
DC comics have a lot of that… X factor…

They are selling the phone for only Rs 36,000/- ..and they are authorised htc dealers in UK..
