Even i did inquired from clove and yes they are selling at 36k (inclusive of DHL cost) but there would be following additional cost to that :

1)All credit card company's would charge (checked)7% (buy & sell currency) on the total cost of purchase i.e. around Rs. 2500/-

2)Seconldy you will have to bear the import duty in india (yet to check with DHL and confirmed with clove)

If you add the above it would be more than or around 40K landed cost in India.

I'm not one for phone bashing, and you shouldn't be putting down other phones either unless you've owned one, tried it and dont like it. Otherwise, just run along being merry and jolly with your iPhone...oh, and your X Factor...

      All the people that plan to buy from
      www.clove.co.uk need to place there order now.
      I have my order in the first batch that is coming out the 11th Nov. but first batch done sellout.
      2nd batch will be in stock 24th Nov. but it too will sell out long before that. This was the same problem back when I got my HD last year from them (it was the first time buying from them and I wanted to wait till they had it so I would not have to pre order and the batch sell out long before. I got it in the 2nd batch and if I had waited, not to preorder I would have mist that as well.)
      Don’t panic, your credit card is not billed till the phone is shipped to you.

        This is not a super hero movie people looking to buy.
        This is a hi performance multifunctional PDA cell phone. People not paying £439 for X factor.
        When you spend £439 you want productivity.
        Go to the comic book store if you looking for X factor.
        DC comics have a lot of that… X factor…

          Kinzieeee, 30 Oct 2009I want to know where can U biy th HTC HD2 handset in Mumbai... moredude...this phone wont hit the indian market until 6 months and it will be too costly when it launches in india like Rs 45000/-!!! im also a htc fan and iam going to buy this phone through www.clove.co.uk. They are selling the phone for only Rs 36,000/- ..and they are authorised htc dealers in UK..

                    Can’t help, I never had a omnia 2
                    I had a Qrek S200 and a HTC TOUCH HD (as far as windows phones goes)
                    Your best bet is to ask someone on the omnia 2 page.

                          Great device. Width does not matter I think, because it's thinness. As for secondary camera, c'mon guys, I have used it on my Nokia couple of times in three years)just for testing...

                              Engineer, 28 Oct 2009is there any official statement saying that this device wil... moreJust for you I ask HTC and this is what they had to say about the wm 7 upgrade (bad spelling and all :) )
                              "Microsoft has just launched this month the new Windows Mobile 6.5, your new HD2 will come with this Operative System, Microsoft is regurarly launching new upgrades and Operative systems but is just microsoft who developt this new OS, as soon as microsoft launch the new operative system we will start to launch gradually this upgrade but right now we dont know anything about the microsoft plans for this new OS."
                              .... The thin is, I have used so many cooked roms on the HD and they worked great. So I know even if HTC does not give it or takes long to give the upgrade for the HD2. I will still get it as a cooked rom, long before it is officially out.

                                  High Tech, 30 Oct 2009On a side note. Is it possible to flash say a HTC Touch Pro... moreNo you can't flash a rom made for HTC Pro 2 onto an Omnia 2.
                                  The hardware drivers will be all wrong.
                                  And if the cooked rom was done right it would not even install because it would see that the hardware is not right.
                                  What you have to do is find a cook that ported the Pro2 interface to an Omnia2 cooked rom. good lock in finding that.

                                      I even stopped using transcriber hand writing recognition, because the new onscreen QWERTY keyboard was so easy to use with my tomb, on the same hand that was holding the phone.
                                      Leo r5 had the same full QWERTY
                                      and so does the HD2

                                        On a side note. Is it possible to flash say a HTC Touch Pro 2 onto an unlocked Omnia 2 phone. I'm thinking all you're doing is switching one operating system for another??? Is that true??? If it didn't work can you go back to the original ROM that came with the phone???? Some one who knows about ROM's PLEASE respond. Thank you.
