Dont do video calling so not bothered about the dual cameras. This phones rocks

there is only one skype for windows mobile.
you dont have to get one to match the phone.

And from using leo r5 on my HTC TOUCH HD I know "g m a i l" "h o t m a i l" "m s n" and "l i v e" are a breeze to setup. Company mail can be set up to use the push as well but that will need your comp.. I.T. to setup.

This phone definitly looks like a rather "kickass" thing, owning the iPhone on many areas (as many phones are already doing).
Quite an awesome processor with one of the highest amounts of RAM I have seen. Finally HTC is actually improving their models.Hopefully they've done something about the graphics card as well, so that it can actually play divx e.g..
And thank god for the old and trusty Windows Mobile (although it isn't quite as it used to be) and for those WinMo bashers, if you know HOW to use a WinMo device it kickes every other OS.
One thing, this phone does look rather bulky in real as well, although the actual dimensions aren't that huge.

Anthony or whoever ordered phone from Clove, please post video and opinions of the phone since you guys will be the first to get it. Clove site said first batch sold out. I had to pre-order from another site that will ship on Nov 19th.

HD2 wont have TV-out functionality. http://pockethacks.com/htc-touch-pro-and-fuze-how-to-get-tv-out-for-3/ is for Touch Pro not for Touch HD, and it's also confirmed by XDA-Dev cook, the current HTC HD2 ROM has no TV-out ROM package.

I am a BB user (for several years now). Last HTC used was the T-Mobile Dash which would crash/freeze too often.
I am glad to say I have been mulling the switch to WinMo for obvious reasons.
Flexibility of WinMo is amazing but stability is such a daunting thought. Has MS solved stability issues?
I am considering the HD2 on T-Mobile as soon as it is released.
I don't see speaker-independent voice command in the specs/features for this device. Can anyone confirm/deny that it exists?
I travel quite a bit and use the voice command via Bluetooth in my car. This is something that would be difficult to sacrifice.

This phone is aesome had a go with it at a vodafone conference so smooth and incredibly fast multitouch is very smooth and the weather applications are fantastic. Also the phone is effortlessly thin!!!

As for turning off Sense UI...I don't know if it will be worth it, just for 1 picture as a wallpaper. Like you said, I can just have it be displayed as a screen-saver instead. Thanks again Anthony!

I read that this does not have a secondary camera and it's bad well does the the iphone have a secondary camera for video calls????????????? don't dis something that other phones don't have as well
i'm planning to but this phone as long as it becomes available in the philippines
