Also i have another question i saw videos on youtube on the N900 and it capabilites and also the HTC HD2.
the thing is i dont have a 3G connection and i never will because everwhere i am, when i am home or on campus i have wi-fi.
so does the GPS use 3G? i do not want to be charged for 3G on the HTC HD2 because i heard the GPS and the weather uses the 3G network to get the forcast in the area and shows the animations on the screen.
also is there a way to turn of the 3G network on both the phones?
i know this is not the right forum to talk about the N900 but the N900 forum is kinda dead.
i am thinkin of getting the N900 over the HTC HD2. i really want a phone not for work but for studies/multimedia, i will use my phone to listen to music, web browering on a wi-fi (only) texting and watching videos.
i am tryin to find the perfect match for me and budget wise, my budget it the HTC HD2 which is quite good, like upto around $850 CND

ok so the capatitive touchscreen avoids that problem
and is the N920 already out?
like is it released or is it gonna be released?
I was lookin at the UI for the N900 and yes it is amazing.
but the HTC UI seems kinda dull for me.
and the HTC HD2 can multitask?

If you have used WinMo before you should know that you can install a variety of software apps, one of them Lockscreens.. :)

Nokia did an awesome thing by at last ditching Symbian and using Maemo 5 on the N900.. If you want it without Keyboard the N920 is out..

WinMo/HD2 is much more powerful than N920,
In the N900/920 upto 6 programs running then you'll notice slowness.. But in the HD2; Run them all my friend!

WinMo is much better and more flexible in case of apps and tweaking than Maemo 5.. Maemo 5 has an EXCELLENT GUI but is limited in Apps..

                                also one more question,
I am afraid of one thing, when a touch screen is in my pocket i do NOT want any keys pressed or any phone calls to be made my mistake or to go on the internet by mistake when it is in my pocket.
                                How can i avoid that?
does captitive touchscreen avoid that or does resistive?
and which one creates that problem?

                                  Hi,

I was just searching around on GSMAreana and i found the Nokia N900. One thing i like about that phone is the fact i can customize and the UI is awsome.
Is it possible to customize this phone? and i'm i able to install Maemo 5 on the HTC HD2? i love that OS :P
also can i download third party applications?
i am having a great battle tryin to figure out between the HTC HD2 or the Nokia N900.

4.3 inches screen with 1230 mAH battery? come on htc inventors, u guys invented the htc hd-3.5 inches screen with 1320 mAH battery, now 4.3 inches screen with 1230 mAH battery, that means u need to charge the phones twice or 3 times a day? and u guys call that "innovation"? i thinks it easier to call President Obama is a white guy.
