If you have used WinMo before you should know that you can install a variety of software apps, one of them Lockscreens.. :)

Nokia did an awesome thing by at last ditching Symbian and using Maemo 5 on the N900.. If you want it without Keyboard the N920 is out..

WinMo/HD2 is much more powerful than N920,
In the N900/920 upto 6 programs running then you'll notice slowness.. But in the HD2; Run them all my friend!

WinMo is much better and more flexible in case of apps and tweaking than Maemo 5.. Maemo 5 has an EXCELLENT GUI but is limited in Apps..

A friend of mine just updated his 18mth old HTC HD to Win Mobile 6.5 without any problems.

That is why stylus don’t work in capacitive screens it is not living... as for 3rd party apps look at this site. http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/

                    also one more question,
I am afraid of one thing, when a touch screen is in my pocket i do NOT want any keys pressed or any phone calls to be made my mistake or to go on the internet by mistake when it is in my pocket.
                    How can i avoid that?
does captitive touchscreen avoid that or does resistive?
and which one creates that problem?

                      Hi,

I was just searching around on GSMAreana and i found the Nokia N900. One thing i like about that phone is the fact i can customize and the UI is awsome.
Is it possible to customize this phone? and i'm i able to install Maemo 5 on the HTC HD2? i love that OS :P
also can i download third party applications?
i am having a great battle tryin to figure out between the HTC HD2 or the Nokia N900.

4.3 inches screen with 1230 mAH battery? come on htc inventors, u guys invented the htc hd-3.5 inches screen with 1320 mAH battery, now 4.3 inches screen with 1230 mAH battery, that means u need to charge the phones twice or 3 times a day? and u guys call that "innovation"? i thinks it easier to call President Obama is a white guy.

This phone would my choice if its not that big.
The big size of the display is inconvenient.
This one would be better if it was 3 to 3.5 inches max.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2009does it have voice command and handwriting recognition?I think it don't have handwriting recognition because it use Capacitive Multi-Touch Screen, and don't have stylus (like iPhone),
But you can install Microsoft Voice Command on it to command your phone it will recognize your voice itself and you don't need to record your voice on it before use.
