If you have a HTC TOUCH HD just change your ROMs to a cooked ROMs of windows mobile 6.5 with the ported HTC HD2 interface.
that's what i did to my HTC TOUCH HD before i sold it to get the HD2.
You will never be as fast or smooth as the HD2 because you have less RAM & CPU and pinch to zoom will not work because the HD has a resistive screen, not a captive screen like the HD2. But the rest will work just very sluggish.
But after you try it you will want to sell your HD just to get the power of the HD2, Just to see the interface running smooth just like i did almost 2 years ago.
Go back to about march 2009 in the touch HD forum you may be able to find where i helped some one to do the switch. Because i have not tuched a HD sense i got my HD2, so i don't remember all the steps to do it.

Nothing has been done to it.

INA, 08 Jul 2011I changed my htc hd2 to windows phone 7 through hard SPL 2.... morei can help you right here but start by downloading your original ROMs from the HTC web site using the SN in your battery compartment. you well also need to download & install 7zip on your PC. when you have all that is needed let me know.

if they all are really photos he has to determine what program did the compression so he can know how to undo it. bty i don't think that compression could not be done by the phone and was done on a PC before it was sent to the phone.
but nik never answered if all the files are pictures. because if they are not, it could be a corruption caused by a virus and it would be recommended to dump the files.

Dear Nik Vel. Try renaming the file names, but just change the file extension. Select .exe and replace with .jpg.
Should resolve the issue with your existing photos.

I changed my htc hd2 to windows phone 7 through hard SPL 2.8 provided by DFT.
Now I wish to go back to windows 6.5.
Plz guide me in detail and with valid download links.

So cane open from fone, if i connect to pc, those .exe folders will open as normal files and i can access the fotos and stuffs inside each folders

dump them, forget them. I don’t know what or who screwed up, but you lost those pics..
Were those pic's taken from a digi cam that needs a special software to sync the pictures to the PC from the camera? That is the only time I have ever seen pictures come off a device as a .exe when doing a simple copy and past, because the camera had some odd file compression to save space but needed to use the software that came with the camera if you wanted to put the pic on a PC in a format that could be understood. copy and past would just give you unusable crap.

After disconnecting seeing those files in SD too, but all with 368 KB as i was telling prior, which cant be opened in HD2.
Am gng mad really!

Take a picture
Then open it from the home screen
Then tap on the pic
Tap the menu icon
Go down and tap on properties
There you will see the file name, save path, date, size, type.
tell me what the path says there.
if you can't find the path it is saying. then you may want to connect to a PC and see if it is comming up as a hidden folder. and change that
