which one is better HTC HD2 or HTC HD7
i am very confused coz hd2 is old but hd7 is new bt i herared hd2 is more better coz of sound system as compared to sound system of hd7 for listening music.
do help me fast i hav one day only for my final decission

htc hd 2 is good mobile.but when i installed android 2.3.4 then this set is very very good.this mobile is one of the best mobile in the world.now my mobile is same as sgs 2 or xperia arc

[deleted post]the HD2 is almost 2 years old. it has been discontinued. you going to have to look in online stores to get one.

Radio Versi... moreYou already have the latest ROM so you are going to download the same ROM from the link below to your PC.
Your S/N is in the battery compartment under the batter.

Once you have the download. It’s time to do the clean up
1. If you can put your SD in a card reader and scan it for viruses once it is clean copy call the info off of it to a folder on your PC and format the SD.
1a. if you don’t have a card reader connect the phone in disk mode and do the say as above...
2. With the SD out do i sync to the MyPhone service to it will be up to date.
3. Make sure you have more than 50% battery power and connect the phone to your PC in Sync mode. (you must have active sync or WMDC installed on the PC for this to work. And it can’t be done from a MAC)
4. Find the downloaded ROM and run the single file on your PC with the phone still connected in sync mode. Do not open it file from a download manager or it will attempt to decompress it into many files and it will not work.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions. (the process take alot less time than stated in the instructions.)
Once it is done. Your phone should start like you are using it for the first time.
6. Up back your clean backup files on the SD and return it to the phone.
7. Setup your MyPhone Account using the same email address and password as you had before the flash and your MyPhone data will be restored to the phone.
Note: the MyPhone sevice is going to be shut down soon so you may want to get PIM and install it on your SD so it can backup your Data on your SD after you set it up with what you want it to backup and give it a schedule

kitty, 11 Jul 2011which is best HD2 or an android mobile??From a hardware point of view… it depends on which Android phone you are comparing it to.
From an OS point of view… it all depends on your needs if you want MS word, MS excel and outlook syncing nothing beats a windows phone. If you live in the google universe then Android is the way to go.
On the good side the HD2 can be changed to Android and back again to WinMo as much times as you are willing to do it.
On the bad side the HD2 is almost 2years old and that are other phones out there with more RAM, ROM and CPU.
Hope this helps you decide.

The issue is fixed as of now.
This is wat i... moreIf it was confirmed that you did have a virus on your SD.
It would be best to flash over your ROM with one you downloaded from HTC.
Because you have no way in telling that the virus that was on your SD didn’t infect your ROMs which will just infect your SD again.
Flashing the ROM and formatting the SD together is the only way to be sure you broke the cycle.
In the future don’t go sticking your SD in any and every slut you see, you never know what you going to pick up :).
It is better you download all app from a PC and scan them for viruses before putting them on your phone (unless you are getting them from a trusted source).

The issue is fixed as of now.
This is wat i did.
*Installed Norton in PC.
*Scanned the HD2 SD with that, there was one detected prob and it got fixed.
*Tried opening SD--Saw all files but few were hidden files. Including the one from camera.
*Tried to change settings, but the box to make the selection not to hide was grayed out.
*Formatted SD again from PC and scanned it. Formatted from Phone as well.
*Now things seems to be working fine. :)

I had so many folder... moreis the backup on your PC still there, ok in size and format? if it is just factory reset you phone and start from scratch. do you have a antivirus on your PC as YET? you need to scan all files you plan to put back on your SD before you put it on your SD. this is sounding more and more like a virus.

Are all the 3... moreLemme try to make it clear for u guys. I had so many folders inside my SD. One fine day wen i tried opening one of those,it said Invalied Pocket PC app. So i jus left it tht day. again wen i tried all the folders inside SD Responded the same way wen i tap on it. I remember connectng my HD2 to my pc few days bfre this happened. As per Anthony i took a back up of SD to my pc and formatted the SD. while doinf this i noticed al the folders frm SD has same size 368KB. Was wondering why. then if i try to open these folders frm pc it will say like i need admin righta to open those. if i cancel it and try again it will open n shw all the contents. Videos,picz n all. Aftr formattng i didt connect my phone to Pc, aftr tht i noticed tht the photoz i clicked are saving in SD,but if i get into SD,thr was no folder showing those picz. Again got confused,checked wit Anthony n found tht the path for those picz says its in SD.Connected again to Pc to chk if the folder is hiden or somethng, to my surprise i found all folders including DCIM (album) folder too thr in SD wen i looked through pc. NOTE:all folders are of size 368KB. Opening find frm pc n showing all contents.
Now i can find all those folders in my SD through fone as well, but while taping it wil say invalied app. Hope u guys got a clear pic now.
