Hey people,try out SuperFroyo 1.5 it`s awesome.Everithing works perfect(it uses ram memory and starting from sd).If u hear robo voice just untick audible touchscreen.Extrordinary phone.

High Tech, 18 Mar 2011Is anyone going to TRY Spb Shell 5 on there HD2 Android dev... morei had tried SPB mobile shell 5.0 beta, the only problem that i decided to abandon is that it keep asking repeatly for activation, every activation i had to download again weather data..
cant wait for the real SPB MS 5.0 comes out!!!

Well I played with Spb Shell 5 some more. It's a nice home app for Android, but I like my Beautiful Home UI better (can resize widgets, etc on the home page)... Spb Shell 5 is a power hog (that's been the same from Shell ver 3.5.5)... That's why I stopped using it in Windows... Spb Shell 5 has potential though... Cannot wait to see what Xda Dev can do with it to cust??? As I said before "I'll try the Windows ver of Spb Shell 5 for my HD2 and Omnia II"... I have a nice UI for Android already... I give Spb Shell 5 6.5 out 10 (battery drain is an issue for me)......

i know my GMT and seeing its right in calls a... moreOk is ask because I had the same problem.
And it was partly fix when I notice that the auto time sync was picking the wrong GMT.
Where I live we use -4 La Paz GMT (no daylight savings) auto time sync was picking -4 Atlantic GMT (daylight savings)
If you are having the same problem of the wrong GMT then you would have to turn off auto time sync in phone settings and in data services settings. Then manually set the time and GMT. (sms from other phones started coming with the correct time after this, but mist call sms still have the wrong time.)
If the GMT # and location is correct you could just try the daylight savings patch that is on some of the HTC web site. (This one I think is for if you live in a country with daylight savings but the time laps is getting screwed up)
If none of these work but you find a fix, please come back and post it. Maybe it would fix the last part of my problem.

Well I've played with Spb Shell 5 for a bit. I must say it's a nice app for your home screen. It still needs some work. I'm running it from my SD Card, and it didn't bring in the music folder. Didn't see anyway to add a album folder (looks like it pulls in your music from your system. because it loads on main storage)???? Only thing I can add is play lists folder:(:( Also need to be able to load docs, files, ect on home or in folders (you might have a doc you need to get, and not have to open word app).... I give it 7 out of 10. I want it for WM. I'll use this Android version if it remains unlocked???? Another thing I have to do is re-activate the app every so often (I guess because it's a beta)????

All your info is right there when you need it... Shell 5 will some other app launchers a run for the money... Beta version seems to be working just fine....

The weather widget is okay, but I like Beautiful Widget better (that's still my live wall)... Will reduce the number of panels from 17 to 9, and then cust.... Will report back on Spb Shell 5 later....

People guess what I came across??? Spb Shell 5.0 beta cracked........ I installed the first apk, but it said my HD2 was supported:( :( Then I found the Spb Shell Apk that made it supported... The beta version has 16 panels active (with one more you can add for 17 total).... Wonder if this will be in the final release (17 panels)???? I must say Spb Shell for Android L@@KS very nice... I may use this as my default UI for Android (it's that NICE).... Now it doesn't allow landscape mode (that would be nice)... Never saw that mode in videos either. Maybe Spb needs to look into that??? Would like that option... Well just got it, and will play with it awhile... Waiting for it to hit WM.... If you want it let me know?????

andi, 17 Mar 2011Thank you for your response. Yes, HD2 is a fantastic devic... more Install Omarket on your phone everything there is free.
And the XDA website has all the best mods.
Note: try to install and save most things to the SD card. Because if your internal storage memory drops below 50mb the phone begins to lag and the lower it gets the slower it get and the more crashing/ freezing you will get.
