Because windows mobile 6.5 dose not really support multi touch.
HTC made special drivers to get that to work. So only software that access those HD2 drivers have the multi touch function. Multi touch and capacitive screens only officially came to windows with the introduction of WP7. That is what makes the HD2 stands out from all other windows mobile 6.5 phones. It has technology in it that not even the OS was made to handle. And that is why it is the only windows mobile 6.5 phone that can be hacked to put on WP7.

denmod, 14 Mar 2011hey Anthony, im lookin to get the dual sim holder u bought ... moreThe one I was using is one of the no cutting models (when I got back my phone from being stolen I didn’t get back my SIMs and I not buying back a prepaid SIM any time soon.) it was the 4th one on the page. But now I see there is a new one (2nd from the top) no cutting that may/maynot fit better. I had some twisting to do with the 4th one to get it to fit and still have the battery cover close properly.
(the one where you cut the sim will not fit in the HD2 SIM slot.)
If you in T&T and in a hurry I have a extra one like what I was using to sell.

Can someone help me with my HD2 phone? My battery life is so so short and I have to charge the phone 3 times or more in a day though I don't stay on it most of the times. Is they something that can be done? I have even bought a new battery but i still have to charge the phone several times in a day. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW OR DO?

Setting like auto refresh for mail n such stuffs i have trief.
Do u think the battery cell is bad?
Shall i try getting a new one via htc?Cause this is a real pain.

Last time I did a good test was back with a 1.48ROM and I know battery usage has gotten better with 3.14.
I have the original HTC HD2 car kit. So my phone is charging when I’m in the car. And that is a fast charger. it could give a full charge in about an hour. Also when I’m in the office, I’m connected to a PC when I’m by my desk. So my phone is always getting some kind of charge throughout the day. The longest it goes on connected is when I’m sleeping or on some weekends when I’m not using it. And then the battery can go 2-3 hours to get a 1% drop. So I don’t think I’m much help to your question.
