windows mobile phones are battery hungry. be it samsung, htc, asus or sonny ericsson. but if you're after functionality and a wide range of useful applications, windows mobile is the os to choose.

I am using for the last 2 days and proudly can say that Microsoft has done a wonderful job. Its the best gadget that I owned for the last 10 years. Very response, no crash, flawless, super clarity, easy to use. One suggestion to Microsoft to kindly update the Operation system by giving a update and provide small issues like copy paste, bluetooth transfer etc.
Please try the device before making any comment based on critical review.

Fredl, 21 Nov 2010HTC always produce BIG phone with BIG screen, but I have to ... moreNo true, I checked HTC HD 7 at T-Mobile, and found that S-LCD is way better than Super AMOLED. Before to post you have to see with your eyes some text on a web page on S-LCD then on Super AMOLED which is bad, fuzzy for small text.

Scott Deagan, 16 Nov 2010I have purchased one of these from Carphone Warehouse here ... moreYou seem to have used phones I might like (I am on the old HTC TyTn2 with Windows 6). I was thinking of the Desire HD, the I4 or the Nokia 8(I like the camera and had Nokias before the HTC with windows 6.1).
I am currently synched with up numbers and calendar to laptop with Outlook and Google (not sure which one as they seem to all copy to each other ok). Will the I4 or the Android or the symbian software also allow simple synching of calendar and contacts?
Also any other thoughts about the three or four you use

The issue of video calls is perfectly addressed by Apple Iphone. The answer is quite simple, Video calls via 3G has been the most dismal failure of any function that has approached any mobile phone ever. Offered so much , but gave so little. In my country the cost of Video calls and voice calls is the same charge, not you pay for voice the same as video, but you pay for video the same as voice, yet I cannot remember when was the last time I used Video. WHY ? Very unstable and frustrating, and completely disturbs the conversation which is on real time as compared to the video which is totally unstable. Hence the answer as to why Apple Iphone has a camera but no video calls. Their factime is the best thing since slice bread. Try it , you are ready for video calls, the picture is very stable as it uses Wifi, and you can talk H/F or with earphones. So stop asking for the front camera unless it has facetime or similar. Putting the camera in front cost money that can be used for other features.
