What I miss, is the feature "voice dial" (yes/no) that is important to all touch screen phones. To my opinion this is a must-have concerning all touch screen phones w/o physical keyboards. Only smart dialing can be a good replacement. After all, withnotstanding the phantastic gadgets/widgets/apps, I like to be able to easily/rapidly call my contacts with my phone ;-)

If the hero's camera had a flash it would be absolutely perfect.

you just need to look, is there android market widget available or not?
if you have android market and can download apps from there you can rest assured, it is the good old hero!

i have a guy who is selling me his htc hero and i want to know if is a fake or not? how can you tell the differences? how to know if is fake or not?

i used symbian,mac n win-mo..
but android rocks..

its the best phone on the market, i work for 3 mobile and it sells like hot cross buns on a cold day in shields.
Gud luck I-phone keeping up with it...

Had my Hero for about 4 months now, it's a great phone. The only critisism is that it occasionally runs slow & lags if you are using apps heavily. A reboot, or Task Killer sorts this out.
The new Desire and the other one I forget it's name looks like they're just as good! But without the chin.

When you buy the phone the bluetooth pairs only with a headset, plus there is no file manager of any sort, but there is an upgrade which unlocks your bluetooth and installs a file manager. You just have to find the software , which many people in Alladin have and upgrade for you for a fee.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2010if 2.0/2.1 comes out, i just need to send my 1.5 hero for u... moreif and when the update is released, which i hope it does too, it will be an "over the air" update for free. Just link to a WiFi or strong 3G connection and let it update. hope t-mobile dont pospone it for their G2 version, cant wait
