i have been using htc hero for a week..no issues so far.
can anybody tell me some websites where i can get free apps for download .
has anybody upgraded the latest ROM?

hi all...please help me... i want to buy htc hero and i know its version is android 1.5 is that possible 4 me to upgrade the version of the phone to upper version by my self or not(anytime that relaesed)..i means it is possible to upgrade that by my labtop and adls or not..??help me plzzzzzz//ty

whats about display colour? Is good with 65k colour? N97 mini Vs HTC Hero, 16m colour Vs 65k colour, which one is bettar? Still now confusing! Plz kindly reply!

I have had my Hero for several days now and absolutely love it! I have found it easy to navigate and texting is not the problem I anticipated (I am used to a keyboard). All in all, a great phone and a very happy customer!

PLEASE NEED HELP!, 30 Jan 2010I can’t sync my HTC Hero to the PC. What do I need to do?connect your phone via USb then click on 'USB connected' and press 'mount'
then download HTC sync files from Hero to your PC.
please note this only work with window PC.
Then the rest you can follow the instruction, it's easy. Good luck!

nokia symbian OS with early stage Ovi store, Hero with 10,000 free apps Android market.
N97 mini with physical keyboard, Hero virtual.

i tryed updating my hero had a problem with the rooting i followed every step and got stucked @ step 10 where i should backup recovery image!!! Even i used the older versin of flashrec and pretty sure i wrote the file name correctly and put it on the sdcard with no folder !!! So I don't know if someone can help me plz...thanks a lot

1..flash player: The official update for the hero is not yet out but I downloaded the modaco 3.2 custom Rom n my fone is now officially faster than the ifone 3gs..
2..laggy keypad: After the Rom installation all my fone's features were boosted including mega keypad speed..check my last three post you'll see details on installing dis Rom...hola

On the brink of buying this phone, just a couple of quick questions after reading the long review here... is there any software update to fix the jolty flashplayer and laggy keypads? Also the other contender I was considering is the samsung i7500 Galaxy, anyone got any experience with these at all as it is also android? Also is the audio as bad as the review makes out? sell it to me, I don't want to have to become an iphone fanboy!
