the Apple store (with restriction)on iphone and Android market (free register) on Hero.

hi. i am thinking of getting either the htc hero or the sony erricson idou. which is better. i like a good camera but dnt like the fact that idou doesnt have the same touch screen as the hero/iphone.plz help

that's essential for me as a new learner..
I just order hero from my singaporean friend to be brought to indonesia.
And I read that original ROM is having some lag.
Can you please double the favour..
and teach me how to update the ROM?
and whether is it original HTC update or 3rd party like modaco, etc that I should use?

Joelle, 15 Oct 2009Does this phone has chinese language?It has chinese, but you have download an app called "custom locale" to bring it up, and you can do this without rooting the phone.
the phone itself can read chinese also you can download google pinyin ime to type chinese.

The resolution could be higher, maybe that's why third party app's don't look so nice as made for iPhone.

Go to the market icon which starts the app and begin searching&downloading. Every app will be installed seperately and can be found on it's icon in the menubar. Good luck & have fun

a quick search on the internet, seems a lot of people having problem with the 3.5mm headphone jack.. any issue for those who already own it here?
I also heard that new HTC Hero that come with latest firmware cannot be rooted. true?

Hi boys and girls I'm a iPhone 3g owner and getting a bit fed up with it my contract is up in the next few months so I am thinking about getting the hero don't fancy the 3gs nice but same old same old has anyone gone from the 3g to the hero and what do you think if you did.which would you reccomend the 3gs or the hero. Hi, I have had the Hero for about 1 month now. and I love it. my only issue would be battery life it is way to short, I have to take the charging cable to work because my bus ride to and from work sucks up to much power. I dont have the new firmware on mine yet but I am having no trouble and I have loads of apps.
I love the chin I think it makes the phone stand out in fact people keep asking me what phone is that. I dont know if anyone else has noticed but I seem to be better at using the phone with my left hand than my right even though I am right handed it just feels better. All in all great phone!!
