so sad, i went to ask about the HTC Hero, Magic & Dream here in KSA and the retailer told me that it will be long before these devices to be available here due to there is no support to ARABIC language in the Android OS :(

i work for carphone warehouse and have had all versions of iphone and i am very very happy with my hero that i received yesterday
screen is very responsive ....there are so many free apps, the screen quality is amazing and the shape of the handset just feels brilliant in your hand
it is a very very good handset

5800 user, 28 Jul 2009What do you mean poor dispalay?? You saw it in real , or yo... more65k are poor and you can not compared them with 16M colours, just look on nokia 5800 display then compare it with this phone you will see how htc hero display is bad.

I believe you can send files via bluetooth on Hero, although I am not too sure if it can be done on Sense, I am quite sure Ihave seen widgets/protocols that would enable android to do it.

Guys I have something very important to tell you about the HTC Hero: It does not support the bluetooth file transfer it only supports the bluetooth headset and bluetooth carkit......U can not send any files or photos or contacts via bluetooth!!!!!!

I saw an advertisment for this phone which said it has full adobe flash support. not the flash lite 3. if it is fully flash compatible can this be ported to x1.

Does anybody know what 'customization', if any, have Orange or T-Mobile implemented on the Sense UI? From experience both tend to make changes to phones. I hope they've the sense to leave things alone - no pun intended.

Have saw the hero in real life a couple of days a go.

Just noticed that the G2 is up at T-Mobile (http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile-phones/phones/pay-monthly/t-mobile/g2-touch/overview/). Tried to have a look at the phone in person at an Orange shop but all the shops I tried had sold out so it certainly seems popular.
