My Magic phone has gone into permanent mute mode and I have to use speakerphone to hear anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a cure or is it a fault?

I also hav htc magic and its the best pfhone i ever had. Bud battery sucks! I charge it every night without using my phone... maybe 10 msg, one call, and just checking wats the time, and bum, my battery is empty... crap.

I have flashed to Rogers 2.1, still a very slow boot and as the phone is under warranty and I have some international trips coming up, I am loathe to root my android at the present time.
To upgrade it's as easy as flashing the BIOS in your PC

i have phone and love it but have 2 problems the first my phone finsh the battery fast like in 10 hour or 11 this in normal use i buy it about some day's and me did't fond on it android market any here can help me ....

You only have do put another sim card on your Magic, and insert de unlock code from de manufacturer!

I have this phone for about a month now and I love everything about it but my problem right now is I want to change to another network coz its sim locked to just 1 network..can anybody please give me some suggestions on where I can make my htc open line to a different network here in Manila? Thanks guys!

I've bought this phone and I like it. I know there are newer, faster phones out there (Desire, Legend) but this has all that I need. Some of us can't always afford those latest ones. For those complaining about battery life, try switching on wi-fi and 3g only when needed. This is my third smart phone and I know what to expect as regards to battery life. Believe me they haven't yet created a battery that can last as long as some of you want unless they use uranium or something nuclear lol!
