You have missed another version of the HTC Magic. In Canada there is one with the 850 band on 3G. Hopefully you see that and fix it. Also this applies to the HTC Dream as well. There are versions with North American non-AWS 3G as I have one.

what about battery life,if it charge full canot use for one day.anyway can i replace the battery,where can i buy orginal battary......?

Have had this phone since its release on Rogers, it is the best smartphone I have owned, like it better than the iPhone 3Gs. 3G speeds are X-Treme! Plenty of expandable memory through microSD. Highly Reccommended!

Good phone. Touch response close to Iphone 3g, market is the best application i've seen on a phone. I upgraded mine to Hero software and it looks even better and handles the same. All in all a very good phone, but hate it in white:D

There are applications that you can download that would allow file transfer using BlueTooth.
The most popular is call "Bluetooth File Transfer"
you can Google it.

I Just got this phone 2 days ago and i really Like it ... Touch Screen is amazing and I like the software ... Performance is a good
Only to Things that I don`t Like :
Bluetooth ( no file transfer)
and Video camera at night

I am using HTC Magic for 4 months now.
If you are here worried about bluetooth, then worry not. Look how you can have a new firmware from youtube and SPIN with your phone. I am now more eager to try the 1GHz snap dragon Desire. But Magic is just fine. If you can, get the hero.

i just got this from smart-phlippines last week... features is good...
only prblem is u cnt transfer files via blutooth without downloading the application.
Only one port for chARger, headset, and usb connector....
over-aLL i find it good as of today....

from my point of view ... HTC is better than the N97 .. cuz the N97 has Problems with the software Internal Processor and the camera as well ... but the HTC magic has only one fault which is the no file transfer over the blue-tooth but you can solve itby a third party application
last thing N97 is more expensive than the HTC magic

angela, 29 Apr 2010i have a htc magic contract with vodafone i think its shatHave owned this device for 9 months. EXCELLENT device! Some people can't "handle" the colour. Pathetic excuse! You tube is so fast, anything Google is utterly brilliant. Unlimited customising of contacts and cordless synch with googlemail (you don't have to use their email, but everything else) superb. Vodafone 360 tries to emulate this but is not as good. No phone is perfect though: power hungry, cant get Google Navigation update or flash player, and you need an app to send same text to more than 1 person. Yeah, apps never will be better than Apple. Most useful apps for me are: Google maps (gps directions direct from contacts - cool!)National Rail, AccuWeather, Facebook & 2010 world cup! I admit it looks like an experimental phone HTC/Google/Vodafone, and they have since done their own seperate thing (360/Nexus). BUT IT WORKS!!!

Would you say the ringtones are loud enough? Some posts say that they are very sift you could hardly hear it. Is this true?
