I'm seeking help from any helpful person out there.
I have 2 contracts with Vodafone that already expired and I'm thinking of signing 2 new contracts and get new phones. Before I commit for the next two years, I need to know what you think of this phone if you a similar one for a while. In particular;
1. Is it responsive?
2. Are the ring tones loud enough to hear in a busy area, eg on the train?
3. What don't you like about this mobile?
4. If you know much about mobiles, how does it compare with the Samsung Jet? Both are free on the Vodafone $29 per month plan.
I greatly appreciate your help.

Hey guys i have just purchased HTC Magic and was very happy but suddenly i got shock when i could not find file transfer then someone advised me to download file transfer soft from market i did so. but it is still not working. Can anyboody guid me? Hey i really ur help>

I have just downloaded bluetooth file transfer from android market and it work perfectly fine on my magic without rooting it. A pity android or HTC couldnt do it with the OS.

just bought this yesterday....So far its the best phone i had. I have used almost every brand except a phone running on android platform.bought the phone and put my sim card in it straight away and the battery last for a whole day and had 50% charge before i plugged in for charging. Installed default HTC keyboard for typing and taskkiller which is working perfect.
Have to see how it performs in the long run

Asif Kazi, 01 Apr 2010It has only blutooth headset support ;) That means no file... moreyou are half right but obviously you didnt use market that often. there is a software called Bluetooth File Transfer and you can use it to transfer music etc.

Hi there guys hope you can help me. When making a call to a nr where I have to select from a menu( for example 1- reception, 2- online queries, etc), the dailler does not work and rather calls up the contacts. It even happens when i listen to my voicemail. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi ive just bought HTC magic yesterday here in philippines. I like the phone and its design but what makes me shock after opening the device is, there is no pre installed android market software and other google software. Please help me where to download the android market manually so that i can download and installed application from it
