had the magic for a few days, not botherd too much that the camara is.... in my eyes "standerd" but ... soppose not be able to take a pic in the dark hurts slightly, a bit confused to why i cant get the song playlist off the front of my screen after i tried one of HTC amazing song tracks ha, oh well! (any tips)

i have come to a conclusion that i am not gonna be able to bluetooth my m8s for anythin unless we both have headsets? "heard you can bluetooth" and "heard you cant" er also been told "theres an app bein made soon" so im clueless till proven otherwise?

findin something good to do all the time (with the apps) , the lay out is eazy to use and to glide thru.

                  overall good fone 8/10

I was having a lot of trouble deciding between the iPhone, HTC Diamond2 and this phone. I went for this because it was cheaper than the others, I liked the appearance of it (some might disagree but I'm a bit fed up of boring black blocks) and after reading lots of praise in reviews I fancied trying out Android for myself.

And what a great decision I made! Granted this phone has some drawbacks which some users will find impossible to get over: no 3.5mm headphone socket, no front camera for video calling, hardly any inbuilt storage capacity (although upgradable to 16gb microSD), a very average camera with no flash and currently only 3rd party support for MS Exchange ActiveSync (the free software on the market provides a mediocre solution or for a tenner you can get some good apps but the experience still doesn't quite compare to WinMo devices which I expect will put off many business users).

However, for me, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Android is an absolute joy to use; it is simple, responsive, highly customisable and looks great - this for me is the phone's greatest strength. The on-screen touch keypad is equally excellent and easy to use once you get accustomed to it. The AndroidMarket is also a strong point; full of excellent (many free) applications and constantly expanding with a keen developer crowd - an advantage of Android seems to be the vast control developers have over the phones hardware and functions, meaning they can create powerful and varied apps. Customisability and upgrade potential were big factors in my decision and this is where this phone and Android really shine above the competitors.

The google mail and calendar activesync is seamlessly integrated. The YouTube application is the best I have seen. The browser is fast and easy to navigate. The screen looks fantastic and is very responsive (in my opinion better than the iphone screen). The OS is very stable (hasn't crashed once since I started using it 3 weeks ago) and the phone seems to cope well with multiple, process-heavy applications. The battery life is above par for a touch screen phone (easily a full day of heavy use or two days of light use). And given that this phone costs £5 less per month than the iphone, with no handset cost and a slightly better tarrif (through Phones4U), I believe it is an excellent investment which will continue to improve as Android evolves and more developers jump on the wagon. Magic!
