I played with this phone in my office today. It feels really nice in the hand. Absolutely stunning. Perfect size and weight. The virtual keyboard will take some getting used to, but I am a complete touchscreen virgin! :)

I am really excited for this phone .. i might get it. I did not like g1 bcuz of physical keyboard .. i want something like iphone smoooooooth virtual keyboard (i hope it will be smooth too). I like the palm pre concept of cards webOS but it uses "physical keyboards" - cant those company make two versions at same time?? What will HTC magic cost? I have tmobile near a year.

Looks good, feels good .. demo model runs really fast // and its surprisingly easy to type on for a touch screen phone.. screen is heat an moisture sensitive thou wich means only responds to fingers so if u try to use a stylus or any other non organic pointy thing it wont register.. actuall battery life is day an a half STANDBY tops.. wich is unfortunatley standard for all recent high end hndsets

wtf is taking htc so long to make this phone?
all they rly hv to do is remove the keyboard. they dont need to worry about software and they hv already achieved better hardware on their prev android phone.
just waitin for he huawei android phone, hopefully that will hv more colored screen and 3.5mm jack

looby, 17 Apr 2009this is definite now... work for VF and just had a hands on... moreThats strange, cause I just had a play as well, and had Bluetooth, even looked and found other devices.
Found it to be a awesome unit, very responsive and slick to use, Surprised how many apps were in the marketplace. Only thing I would need would be a keypad style virtual keypad as the qwerty style keypad in portrait mode. unless you got small fingers. really quirky app like sketch a etch, soo cool for keeping kids occupied. This is going to be BIG.
