Looking at the pictures, I would say that it does not have a flash,

still really wanting to see this, how it responds, but also for this inconclusive Bluetooth question whether it is headset only.

And if I can use as a modem for y laptop, dont really want to but a Dongle.

Dear htc user s . Kindly let me know (unbiased opinion) which is good in terms of mobile and operating system ( touch hd or omnia HD and windows or symbion) . Is typing on touch hd finger friendly like my e90. Please state your anwser giving detailed comparison. As both mobiles are very costly so i need to be sure of choice before i buy n not regret later. Thanks dear.

This phone is so great but its only flaw is no 3.5mm headphone jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell wants to attach a fugly converter adapter to the bottom of a phone!!! I want to use my own high quality Bose headphones dammit!!! Not the cheap poor quality HTC plastic crappy ones!!

Anonymous, 02 Apr 2009As an employee of Vodafone I would just like to make a defe... moreI have to say that I fully concur with the comments made by the Vodafone employee. I have been a Vodafone customer from the outset and, although I acknowledge the iphone as a superb, very attractive piece of technology, I would not trade the excellent, "second-to-none" service I receive from Vodafone so that I enjoy using the best interfaced touchscreen phone around. The trade-off is better specked phones sourced extremely competitively from Vodafone, a far superior coverage and last, but not least, a benchmark on Customer care and overall service. It has A2DP bluetooth for stereo bluetooth, I'm not sure why GSM has the wrong info up, saying headset support only. The A2DP is confirmed even on the actual HTC site.

Scorer, 03 Apr 2009Anyone know what kind of keyboard it has for messaging? Por... moreYeah it has a landscape QWERTY which has larger letter icons, but i actually found the portrait QWERTY more responsive and with better accuracy when i used the handset. Maybe it was just me? Typing experience is very similar to the iphone in that respect but the landscape mode would suit chunky fingers better.

As a jaded phone salesman who is rarely impressed with new toys I have to admit that this phone blew my socks off. And although Im loathe to jump the gun, the software on the devices we were using (9 devices in the room, being vigorously fiddled with) was very stable and not a single one crashed or experienced slow down in the 90 minutes we were using them. In my experience of pre-release handsets, the reps usually make all the 'beta version, not the final software on these devices' excuses but these seemed to perform pretty damn well.

I had an opportunity to spend some time with this phone at work today, wow its fantastic, fast, user friendly. The android software is for me a smash hit great work Google. Unfortunately the release date has been confirmed to be the 1/05/2009 with voda uk, so a little longer to wait, bit it will be worth it.

I've been with, TMobile, Vodafone, O2, Orange and Three and it pains me to say it but Three are actually a very good network. Switching to Vodafone though as they have good deals on phones and good packages for the everyday consumer.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2009I work for O2 and we are by far the biggest and best networ... moreSo why is it Mr O2 worker that I can't get ANY signal in parts of Scotland where I frequent several times a year? Vodafone on the other hand gives me FULL signal in the dead O2 areas. Only found this out when I switched to O2 from T-Mobile and found out the hard and expensive way.

Vodafone will be getting my custom from now on a) as then now offer the same deals as O2 and b) they are getting the new Google Phone.

As an employee of Vodafone I would just like to make a defence against the comment left by the O2 employee.

Vodafone's network cover 99% of the UK population and at present are ahead of any other UK mobile network as far as coverage is concerned.

In terms of the phone - this is an amazing handset and there's already a massive list of people waiting to get their hands on it.
Being a google-based phone this is a brilliant rival to all Windows Mobile based devices and I can't wait for it's release!!
