The development of cameras for phones have moved to more, = smaller, pixels, so using bigger pixels is just a step back to using old big pixels again!

Main disadvantage
- 4MP camera has disappointing performance in good lighting conditions
- Non-expandable storage
- Awkwardly-placed and uncomfortable power button
- Senes UI still lacks connectivity toggles in notification area
- Non user-replaceable battery
- Poor video and audio codec support out of box

HTC sales has been decreased at the bottom level. This is the best opportunity to HTC to increase their sales. Unfortunately if HTC One failed HTC CEO said he will quite from his job.
The only way to becoming success this phone they need to more creative advertising and make the phone more available worldwide.

Simply put, a megapixel is equal to one million pixels. Or, if you say that camera has 4UP it means that in reality the resolution is just 4 (four) ultra (big) pixels. If you say it has 4MP, you are losing the special attribute (ultra).
So, the camera has, indeed 4MP (4 milion pixels) but those are ULTRA pixels. Actually, it's closer to reality/truth to say that it has 4MP that 4UP :))

i read something here, a guy was saying something about the HTC ONE camera, it was good indoor only??? - hahaha dude, just find the video on YT where LUMIA 920 beats the sh*t out of your silly S4 13mp camera, even in nightmode, the flash is 100 times stronger and brighter and has better quality. so Samsung can put 100mp if they want, they still suck on it! :) cheers!

So before I brought my HTC One, I looked at what was on the market and what was to come. Smart phones are not cheap so I wanted something that didn't feel cheap.
So that left me with 3 handsets, sorry Samsung, don't do toys. I had a look at the Sony Z and it just does not feel comfortable in the hand. So I was left with the iPhone 5 and the HTC One.When you hold the HTC One, there has never been a phone like it. It feels like its worth so much more. I love my music and Sony and Apple have good experience in this area, but again beats audio and the amplifier really do make a difference. They sound so amazing, movies are like being in the cinema.
BlinkFeed, what a great idea so useful, I will never use another home screen again. Oh and the Tv remote, it controls my sky box too and I have tried it on virgin tvo boxes, no problem there.
Its not just a remote, but a smart remote with a tv gide and a on demand service through HTC watch. Also the tv gide is linked to blinkfeed to remind me of my tv programs.
Oh and what a clever idea with ultrapixels. Most people don't print anymore, so why do you need all these pixels. More pixels means less memory on your phone. And talk of memory, ithas usb on the go and I got one there portable chargers. It will top up my battery even when its in my bag. So why all the fuss about removable battery and memory cards. Cloud is way better than memory cards.
I put the one up against the Nokia 920 and it was a close call, but when I tested the flash, the HTC One won that one. They use smart flash which is almost like TTL on a professional camera. It reads the distance between the lens and the subject, giving the best exposure and saving battery life.
HTC highlight another great idea, it really does bring your pictures to life.
There is so much I could say about this phone, its amazing. But don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.

GSMA, please do your job properly. It is 4UP as in Ultra Pixels and NOT 4MP which is mega pixels. The difference is in the size of each pixel!

Hi all, thanks for replying on my comment regarding the daily usage of the HTC One, when it comes to over heating problems, it happens during long intensive downloads of huge memory games etc, but when u doing the general stuff like web surfing, texting, idling etc all is good..it gets warm, but not worrying hot! The boomsound technology integrated with beats is quite good, the sound is more bass than tingy, very loud indeed and haven't missed a phone call yet due to loud volume ringtone. My friend has got Xperia z, I'm not being biased but when playing around with his phone, I prefer my HTC One, it's so much easier to hold and I like the HTC One user interface more, it's more engaging! Hope the information helps :)

I usually have some 16hours of on time with some 6hours of screen time with my Note2. But it really depends. Usually always on power saver cos the I wouldn't get through the whole day. It doesn't matter really. I've been thinking of buying a power bank rather then a second battery because it a tad more useful. With it I have juice for a few charges and can charge other USB devices as well.... You can't do that with a second battery.

anyways that is your judgement...further try to take pics from ONE by reducing sharpness to -2 when outdoors, daylight, goodlight etc...compare the results

Today I got my HTC one and finely I ca compared with my Sony z and Nokia 920. Pictures on Sony is much better than HTC and little than 920. Buttery live is HTC better but with Sony you have better filing of premium clas and aluminium of HTC don't say much .
Sony for the moment is number one. I don't saing that one is bad , but ,,,,,, is not same filing like Z
This biggest advantage of HTC is sounds its amazing now competition . I don't care about revues I have this for phones ( BB Z10) and I can test it not on the paper , but in real live .
