1) Nice Premium Build BUT you'll cover it with a case = Useless.
2) Nice Loud Speakers BUT you'll use an earphone/headphone = Useless.
3) Also, 30% of the price of this phone goes to Dr. Dre for providing the awesome Beats Technology = Scam.

Battery still good but I'm worried with this sentence about loudspeakers volume: "the HTC One only managed a good result in our dedicated test. That certainly doesn't make them the loudest around"??? 66.6 db of pink noise with Boom Sound is not impressive- i know that sound is deep and rich but still quiet. So when i set my favourite mp3 as a ringtone i may miss some calls with this volume of dual loudspeakers. Have you tried it ? Am i wrong? Can you correct me as an actual user of the One? Thank you very much

THE POWERBUTTON IS NOT AWKWARD AT ALL! i'm left handed and it fits perfectly for me!........and btw HTC, we know what and for who u are talking about, it's all ok, don't worry, we still love ya :). if u push harder and try reach them u will get into deeper troubles, so as u said keep calm and PLASTIC ITS NOT FANTASTIC, they alrdy have 10 versions of the S4, so silly and cheapy!

Web browsing last 9hrs 58mins, 2 mins longer than iphone 5 and much longer than Sony's Z and all others. Wow GOOD JOB HTC, it makes more sense to have longer browsing time because it's what most of the users love to do. No one would spend more than 10hrs talking on the phone in a day, but surfing the web, checking mails, communicating via whatsapp,viber etc, is where we like to spend most of the time. Sony,Samsung,LG(my favorite in terms of pricing, cheaper) learn from HTC ONE.

I will definitely wait until the release of One and buy it for sure when it comes to Poland (at last) :) I love music and great display- Boom Sound?- Awesome- especially dual speakers. I always wanted a phone with loud and great sound while calling so I can hear it in every situation. Since Nokia 5700 Xpress Music I have never found a worthy successor. Nokia X7 is such a disappointment in this area, it's laggy as well. The only thing I was worried about in Htc One is battery life- but now, after what you wrote, I'm no longer worried :) P.S sorry for the mistakes- I'm Polish and English isn't ma native language :) Once again- GREAT NEWS!

AnonD-119909, 22 Mar 2013I just got my HTC One on Monday and after using it for a co... moreI agree, the battery is good, very good on saver. I've seen up to 5-6 hours of screen time on a 12-14 hour basis. That's almost Note2 territory. :D ...suffice to say it is sufficient for a full day.

I just got my HTC One on Monday and after using it for a couple if days I can honestly report that the battery is very good, I disconnect the battery at 9am in the morning and by 9pm still 40% battery left even after heavy use, using Google maps on for more than 40mins and idling the phone for the rest of the day, the battery is sufficient enough for more than a whole day...and btw..the camera is epic with zoe features, boomsound is very good when watching YouTube and playing games..definitely recommend anyone that's wants to buy a new phone.
