Htc, 22 Jul 2014U r wrong!.... there is no one equivalnt to htc's multimed... morefirst of all...according to almost all the reviewers Xperia Z2 has the best camera till date and secondly, Apples uses Sony cameras in its IPhone and Display from Samsung

GSM arena has rated htc 816 and one mini 2 as below average. M7 as average and m8 lower than m7 in loudness. So dual boom sound speakers with amplifiers is no good than than single speaker phones in loudness. Only good thing is the sound quality.

For me, I have a DSLR and I don't want to use my phone for taking snap. Also do you say the E8 build quality is not good ?
I think, Aluminium is more prone to scratches...
I think E8 is better buy which is 10K less than M8.

even in gsmarena's review there is no phone till date from any other manufacturer which can provide better audio quality...
and in camera dept. See desire 816's review they said that it is upto the level of an iphones camera...

Mr.V, 21 Jul 2014HTC m8 has much better built quality and its waterproof too... moreIf you see the drop test of M8, you will see that the screen cracks when the phone is dropped on its phone whereas in case of Xperia Z2 the screen dosent crack and i agree that M8's built quality is good but after all if screen cracks then whats the use of such high build quality. Regards to software, HTC is better but there is no comparison to Sony in case of mulimedia

for those who fail to understand the dual camera let me just say please update yourself as m8 is the only phone with 3d imaging
the dual camera makes this possible also the 4ump is worth it because in brod day light even a samsung can click decent pictures its at a party or an indoor function where m8 shows its true value against others
i have used quite a few phones also seen my friends phones
and without a doubt in my mind htc m8 is currently the best phone in the market

don't over exaggerate the ultra pixel thing. a 4 ultra pixel camera is just a 4 MP camera with larger pixel. it allows more light to the sensor and hence takes better low light photos. in broad day light it performs as any other 4 MP camera

AnonD-285636, 21 Jul 2014E8 or M8? Is the camera/design worth paying the extra money? if you can afford paying extra then go for Sony Xperia Z2 instead of HTC One M8. Xperia Z2 is waterproof, has the best built quality (watch Android Authority Xperia Z2 drop test and compare it to HTC M8's), has better camera and screen and it also has the best Earphone experience on any phone. Or else go for HTC One E8!

Htc E8 IS THE PHONE for guys who cant understand m8 uLtra pixel dual camera and m8 wonderful design and for whom they thing samsung has the best hardware quality i can say compared m8 with s5 and note 3 and m8 is mich faster than them and better performance with heavy programs anyway ifu doubt in dual camera of m8 now there is an other option for u

long live htc, 20 Jul 2014Well all of u wntd to knw tht why htc phones are priced sli... moreThe only thing bad about samsung is cheap built but you get the slimmest light weight phones from them.There is no doubt that samsung is the most innovative of all the android phone makers.They have the most advanced hardware technology and extensive features than other androids. HTC on the other hand has the best built and UI but lack in other areas.
