        I bought HTC ONE M8 a few weeks back. I didn't notice

it before but now I have tested and am sure about the

issue. After receiving 6-8 calls the ringtone volume

decreases to less than 50 %. The same issue is

exhibited in the safe mode as well. Steps to

        replicate:
        1. Make sure your phone has the highest level set for

        volume for ringtone.
        2. Start receiving calls , do not adjust the volume

rocker or any other settings in the phone.
        3. After a few call ( usually 6-8 in my case ) the

volume of the ringtone will be barely audible.
If you increase it again ... it remains ok for 6-8

calls and then again changes back.
I checked online, forums/e commerce sites (amazon ...

flipkart) and there are many more who have faced this

        issue.

HTC M8 is iPhone friendly, as it has the option to transfer contacts from an iPhone over Bluetooth. which is great given the annoying fact that iPhone Bluetooth (without jailbreak) can only be connected to Apple products.

HTC M8 is even iTunes friendly, as it can sync with an iTunes backup for (photos, music, ... etc) so if you are an iPhone user who wants to change to Android then this phone will be perfect for you.

Mentor, 05 Aug 2014I have an unfortunate experience with my hTC one m8 Phone. ... moreThat's called "Region Lock." For an example, If you buy a phone in Europe and went to an Asian country and insert a sim, the phone automatically lock. Unfortunately, I can't help with this matter. The only thing you have to do is, just go to the HTC service center and ask them to unlock the device.

                Good-luck!

darkgamer, 05 Aug 2014Are you talking about the 32 GB version. Xperia ZR is a... more32GB version of Moto X is around $340 here. Sony Xperia ZR also around the same price range. I haven't used a ZR but Xperia Z has a very low battery life and the phone is heating so much. My sister owns a Moto X. It's really a great phone and super smooth even with a dual-core processor. I prefer the Moto X over the Xperia ZR.

Xperia ZR is a good phone IMO. It has a better processor, is water and dust resistant, has a better camera, better battery life and has micro SD card slot.

Moto X 16 GB is kinda useless without micro SD card slot. My music collection is around 17 GB in phone( a lot of FLAC). So no micro SD card means a no from my side. It's a great phone otherwise if looking for 32 GB.
