Currently I am using LG G2 for couple of months & I am total satisfied with it but now I like the design of HTC One M8, So is it going to be a wise decision to swap the model G2 to One M8??? Cheers

HTC had a multi-award winning phone on their hands with the original HTC One last year. So the though on my mind (and I'm sure many others, was just how would they manage to improve on it in 2014's successor??!?). With the HTC One M8, HTC sure has done not only that, but they have really set the bar even higher than ever!
I loved the metal finish on my HTC One M7 and when I unboxed the HTC One M8, I was astounded at the wraparound metal back (90% metal!! Wow!) and the curve and finish (on the Gunmetal Grey) was something that just felt so good and "right" in my hand when I held it, so much so that I didn't want to put it down! The finish and texture on the Gunmetal grey is superb! Obviously lots of thought and effort in getting the tactile feel down, just right!
Overall, I think this device is a winner, superb build and quality, screen is top notch, no lag when using it, Sense 6 is really upping the game with the tweaks and improvements, and though I'd personally wished for a slightly larger battery in the M8 (2800-3000mAh would've been superb) the improvements in terms of power usage and battery management, means that it last quite a bit better than its predecessor in my own heavy usage.
As a photographer, the camera on my device is important for making photos when I don't have my other cameras on me. The Ultrapixel camera on the HTC One M8 with the Duocamera setup goes some way to improve on the critiques of its predecessor.
The Ultrapixel camera definitely make a difference in lowlight and indoor scenes, while the increased data in the files from the depth sensor is telling in not only better photo files and coupled with the interesting features in the stock photo editor like uFocus, Foregrounder and so on, lets the average user get creative with their photos for sharing on social networks. In that respect, the camera is more than sufficient for social sharing, the details in files is sufficient and slight cropping is still acceptable, though given that the camera is still only 4 megapixels, heavy cropping isn't recommended, of course.
Lovely device, I wish everyone out there would get one, and realise what they've been missing when they experience the HTC One M8 firsthand for themselves!

AnonD-253518, 03 Jul 2014My phones camera (4mp) is also getting scratches, its just 4... moreget it replaced. It is a hardware issue as HTC forgot to put oleophobic coating on the main lens. The depth sensor has protective coating though.

this phone is too good! unbelievably slick interface the camera might be pretty average but then again no phones really stack up to a proper camera. the thing that is unreal about this phone is the audio output, i'm a music junky and have gone through countless ipods, iphones, archos mp3 players with external amps and android phones but nothing has had as much clarity and punch as the headphone out of the M8.I literally have to resist the urge to dance on the tube during my comute!
on top of that you get a pretty nice screen oodles of power under the hood and the only phone to look as sexy as an iphone since the original one!

AnonD-279179, 01 Jul 2014This or Sony xperia z2? Hard to choose ...Z2 has the better camera, but M8 is better built and is hard to break if it happens to drop. M8's only problems are the small-ish screen and bad camera, but I still like my M8.

My Experience with M8:
- Metallic Body not only easy on your eyes, but also feels great in your palm.
- BoomSound is loud, but at the same times easy on your ears. No distorted sounds.
- Gesture controls are pretty useful in day to day task, specially the finger up gesture
- HTC Sense TV combines multiple remote into one. Single remote works with both LED TV and Settop box.
- Everybody are fan of BlinkFeed in my office and they want the app on their phone too. BlinkFeed will bring the best of all from your fav. social networking sites and RSS feeds. Give some time to configure BlinkFeed properly and you won't regret.
- BlinkFeed is not Battery or data hogger.
- M8 battery With moderate use and 3G always ON takes you to full day.
- Activate Extreme Power Saver mode and the battery will refuse to die.
- Photos captured from UltraPixel Duo Camera is extremely good in quality.
- No match of UltraPixel when it comes to low light photography.
- Ufocus and 3D dimensional is what you'll do with every photo capture from the phone. A Perfect result.
- Use Season effects, create video and Amaze your friends by uploading it to Instgram or other sites.
- Don't forget to use Duo Capture when you're on date/trip with your dear one.
- You can also capture 360 degree photo using Pan 360 photos and if you're happy with the result not then trying Google Camera.

AnonD-274749, 20 Jun 2014ply tell me anybody its great phone htc m8 or not because o... moreThe htc One M8 is an excellent phone & the camera is perfect for most every day use. It appears many people get all worked up over a 4mp camera (when in fact its ultra pixels so works differently & allows more light exposure)
The camera is a very decent camera for social media etc & I would never purchase a smartphone based on the camera alone.
I have had the pleasure of using the M8 & very tempted to upgrade to it instead of getting an Iphone 5's. It all hinges because I like Apple's after service over any other manaufacturer.
It's personally choice so don't get bogged down by all the fanboy stuff & girlie squabling over who is best.
htc One m8 is a fantastic phone & you won't be disapointed in anything if you choose to go for it.
