But in my case, it's because I am using different micro USB cable upon charging which is not from The HTC package. My husband has lost the original cable for HTC one m8. So every time I charge, it notifies slow charging because it requires the cable of HTC itself. Regarding your battery which takes 7 hrs charging, your battery probably has a problem? or it is poorly charging due to the charger itself, or too much running apps while on wifi, etc.

Hi all. I have a problem with charging, everytime appears notification that "connected charger takes longer time than usual'. I have tried different chargers but same problem is oending. Also it takes about 7 hours for full charging. Pls help.

The phone overheats very quickly
Back camera is bad in bright light
Poor battery life, prone to turning off with battery still remaining
Prone to software problems, requiring factory resets
Poor customer service in regards to fixing the above problems
Performance degrades heavily over time

Please please improve battery life and memory. What is the point in keep introducing and encouraging use of more apps, watching films uTube etc. This phone cannot keep up with it.
