Sam, 15 Jan 2016I just wana know is there any difference in performance mea... moreDoesn't have much different in the camera performance for me. But i noticed it is slightly quicker when opening it. Same goes to other application. It is smooth and quick when opening it. Games performance is good for me. I haven't played asphalt, but i do play the goat simulator and hitman go game and it has nice frame rate and doesn't lag that much. Battery after days of use i found out that it actually drains slightly quicker than usual but also charge slight quick(i'm going to get qualcomm quick charger for that). Another thing you can add an htc own widget on another custom launcher which i can't do in android l.

sany, 16 Jan 2016M update please ,......Indeed! Waiting is fucking killing me, how long can it take to be released in Europe? Answer is: TOO LONG! Since HTC decided to skip 5.1.1 for M8, Marshmallow SHOULD be out worldwide NOW! I love HTC but no wonder why they are sinking financially.

II luv using phone to its extend tilll it falll illl n say asphalt 8 crashed....wait or quit....like that means does it stilll takes anything thrown on it.....???? Basically one question hows the performance.... Better or A little bit slow

sam, 14 Jan 2016Which country???????From malaysia, btw the battery feels like it drain slightly quicker than before but not really noticeable and I encountered some problems with music player because the artist or album name is not displayed. This happens across most of the music players i tested with zplayer crahsed when playing the music. The update also come with pre-installed app like peel remote and news republic which i seldom use(and unfortunately can't uninstall).Other than that it is a great experience overall with marshmellow

No M update in Finland yet... ...if M update just arrived in some parts of the Asia then waiting is going to be long for Europeans! Hmm, maybe february-march here...

Already recieved the marshmellow update for my m8. It's great, works super smooth and have a lot of additional features compared to the previous lollipop version. I haven't tested the battery life though.

I need advice please.
My HTC M8 gets very hot.I have a temperature app that tells me the exact temperature.
I have the screen set to the lowest brightness level,power saving mode on,motion gestures off and the only apps I have installed are whatsapp and nova launcher.
The only thing I do on my phone is whatsapp ,watch the odd video on youtube and sometimes read a news article on chrome.
after a few minutes my phone feels hot and it reaches temperatures on about 38 degrees celsius or 104 Fahrenheit.
my phone also becomes very hot while charging.It scared me and I now point a fan at the phone to keep it cool while charging.Is this normal for the M8?
