Using m8 since 2014, still a good device, the battery is super, charge once in 24 hours.
good colors than my galaxy Note 3, & faster...
only one thing I don't like in m8 the power button is on head, which is not so easy to press.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2016and why do you need to update it that much?! it is like any... moreI had my HTC droid DNA for a over a yr running kitkat so now I have the m8 I would like to see how lollipop looks & feels in my hand.I sent my phones IMEI number to HTC customer support they told me the phone wasn't from the US but from Australia & they don't know how to update from besides using a custom os.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2016And why do you need to update it that much?Well, i just always prefer the newest OS versions. I always update my devices if there are updates available. And i also know newest doesn't always mean best but whatever... but in my experience, every new update has improved my devices in some way. I'm no expert on Android but not total noob either.

I m unable to find this phone in India.. Everywhere HTC one m8 eye is available.. EBay and some peoples are selling some unlocked and imported version.. So my question is will the unlocked imported version will get the marshmallow update here in India and will this work normally in India without any problems..??

I wouldn't recommend this phone I've had 3 replacements
1) no signal
2) no network
3 home screen freezes
4) WiFi connection is pathetic

Worst phone ever...you cant go out without powerbank...and you have to brush its speakers few days becaise dust gathered at speaker holes and its volume decreases...worst battery...no updates...dont buy this useless product

Where is M update?!? HTC promised it will be out by the end of 2015 but it's already 9th of January 2016. I have unlocked EMEA version and i live in Finland. Let me ask, who got M update already?

Many HTC user facing freezing issue on facebook messenger.
This is not a fault of your phone...
To fix it just Go to....
1. Developer option in settings menu
2. Scroll down
3. You see a option "Use Nuplayer"
4. Just unclick it.
Problem solved.
***If dont find Developer option in settings menu...
Go to settings
Then click "About"
Then click "Software information"
Then click "more"
Then click "Build number 7/8 time continuosly"
Then you will find Developer option in settings menu above 'about' option.
