Anonymous, 17 Aug 2018Hi....have been usingn HTC one m8 for about 2 years noww...... moreI had the same problem 2 years back and read on the web the reason is likely because the coating of the camera is easily scratched. There is a solution to dissolve this coating with toothpaste, and then acetone, using cotton swabs to rub the lens. Sounds pretty radical but the the blur was so bad I decided it's worth a try, and the blur was completely removed.

Great phone, have had it about 4 years. It's getting on a bit now and is noticeably slower compared to something like a huawei p10.

Bought this phone used from a friend. He had it for a year, I've been using it for two years. Battery crapped out after about half a year in my possession, so after a year and a half, but I replaced the battery myself (it was cheap as hell, like 14$), and now the phone holds a charge for three to four days of only texting, calling and browsing the web. The one MAJOR problem with the phone is ghost touches, which is when the screen registers touches when you're not actually touching it. This causes you to open apps and write nonsense messages. The only fix is to replace the screen, which is expensive as hell.

Horrible phone, after 4 month's battery drains in a couple of minutes and turns off automatically and now screen opens apps by itself and not the one's I choose, will never buy a htc phone again. Also over heat's too fast.

This is a great phone, everything works perfectly. Just the moment I bought it, I have never encountered any problems. Its a phone worth buying. The design is classic however,HTC shoud push for Android 7.0 updates.

I LOVE my HTC; never thought i'd find a phone so useful but this one is and is incredibly easy to use; battery life is long, screen is clear, setup is good, runs apps fine, all of it is good and I will be really sad when it gives up and I have to get another but shall enjoy it until that happens.

                                      cons:
                                      -heavy weight
                                      -slippy
-low battery life (3-4h display on)
-heats up real quick + aluminium body makes it heat up faster
-in winter seasons it turns off cause of cold weather + aluminium body makes it cool down
                                      faster
-camera is shaky, takes blurried photos
                                      -speakers are quiet
-you wont have much storage if you take 16gig version

                                      everything else is good
