But still you can unlock the boot-loader and install a custom ROM also install "Greenify" if you don't know about rooting or unlocking the boot-loader.

my htc one m8 fell inside water and has since never remained the same, it doesn't accept sim card again and when it comes on, it goes off immediately...whats the remedy?

It's a good phone but has very weak battery life doesn't last a day or two.It's very slow on mobile data but good with WI-FI internet.

Am getting a new uni... moreif you're fine with the 2GB of RAM, then a new HTC M8 for under $100 is a no-brainer in my opinion. it is a great phone and can easily be ran longer than the 1.5 years you plan to have it for, if you need to

Amazing phone,have it since 2014 and works perfectly.it has fallen on the most rough surfaces like tar roads and hard surfaces and the screen is intact. Touchwood.

Bought this phone in July 2013 still running like it's new battery lasts me the whole day and i talk way too much, sadly the screen broke when it fell down last week, wanted to go fix it but the wife called me stingy so decided to buy the HTC U11, im HTC for life.
