cons:
-heavy weight
-slippy
-low battery life (3-4h display on)
-heats up real quick + aluminium body makes it heat up faster
-in winter seasons it turns off cause of cold weather + aluminium body makes it cool down
faster
-camera is shaky, takes blurried photos
-speakers are quiet
-you wont have much storage if you take 16gig version
everything else is good

Yesterday drowned my m8, didnt get it back:( Guess its time to write an review. Overall its a great phone. some cons: batterylife, weight, heating, dual speakers are not very loud. every thing else is great

May be one of the best of of HTC. Using for 3 years. Recently just changed the battery and it become new again. may be it will serve for another 3 years. I am not sure about my next phone, will that can be served like M8? I have doubt. I am happy with Mighty M8

FAN USER, 25 Apr 2018using this phone for the last 4 years. rear camera vibrates... more100% right. I am using for 3 years. Still performance is super. Just changed my battery and it look like new one again.

using this phone for the last 4 years. rear camera vibrates for the last 1 year (might be due to random falls ). but still the phone is superfast. i have praying for the phone to slow down and any other fault to crop up, so that i can buy a new one......but nothing at all....still working absolutely fine.

But still you can unlock the boot-loader and install a custom ROM also install "Greenify" if you don't know about rooting or unlocking the boot-loader.

my htc one m8 fell inside water and has since never remained the same, it doesn't accept sim card again and when it comes on, it goes off immediately...whats the remedy?

It's a good phone but has very weak battery life doesn't last a day or two.It's very slow on mobile data but good with WI-FI internet.
