My dream is to see every phone be independent like in the past. HTC had its own software and hardware including all other phones. Now, Android is for all, updates are for all. This days, we buy different phones yet with almost same few features yet all applications. Every phone company must have their own applications. There are many people out there who are software developers. I'm sick and tired to have applications in my expensive M8 $1000 that anyone can have in their very cheap phones $150. Look at now, HTC is in trouble for an overheating SG 810 which is not owned by HTC that itself drives away innocent who wanted to buy it. As for me, Nothing comes close to my M8 so I will keep it. Nonetheless,HTC for life no matter what

It is true. New generation of batteries do not need to charge them full. Best charge for them is 90% and minimum should be 10%.

hebatallah13, 16 Mar 2015How about the camera is it good as 13megapixelIf your comparing number number of pixels than 13 mp has a higher number.,but comparing quality the photo is pretty good since the sensor size is larger more detail is captured..its a good camera phone overall.. Basically ultra pixel captures better low light photos.

There is only just one 4mp sensor with a bigger pixel size for more accurate lighting.. The other sensor is basically a depth sensor used for adding effects and focusing or defocusing objects after the picture is taken...

I am replying to the other person who asked about the battery life and speakers in one post... Battery life is good.. Lasts a day and a half on casual usage.. 1 day for medium to high use.. Speakers are flawless..camera is also is more than good for social networking.. Overall complete phone

I saw couple of videos on YouTube m9 vs S6 and I must say S6 continues the legacy of galaxies by offering ugly phones especially the back of s6 with ugly touchwiz. Sense 7 is the real thing. HTC must bring sense 7 to our M8 . Sense 7 is very fast like the fastest car in the world SSC TUATARA 1350 horsepower. I didn't see much improvement of camera though. HTC should not have abandoned ultra pixel but improved them : more pixels doesn't mean much clarity. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what
